Here’s the thing, illfonic already said it, Predator queue’s are a math thing. Player base for pred needs to go down to 20% or close to that. 80% FT (that’s 4 people) 20% Pred (that’s 1 person).
The only way to achieve that is to discourage most Preds from playing. Probably only the best and the uninitiated will remain at the end.
As for the “new stuff” we got… most experienced players don’t find it that useful for hunting or killing preds. Hell, we were using the UAV Scanner to look for bricks. We all know where the permanent health packs are. We always carry ammo bags. It may be useful against a very good pred, but most of the time those are very specific situations that rarely happen. Same thing goes for the self revive which I still consider useless since the pred can quick claim you or kill you with bow shots while you are trying to get up.
The new OWLF rifle kicks like a mule and the damage is just not there. It’s more of a gimmick because of the sound. Hammerhead still is the superior assault rifle, even after the nerf, IMO.
We tested last man standing. I don’t get why people think is a buff… it ain’t. Is a nerf. You don’t get less damage. If you use double speed, you don’t get bonus speed. You don’t get increased damage. You don’t get more health, more ammo, etc. What you do get is a heat signature that makes it impossible for you to evade the pred even with ice cold perk and mudding up. Illfonic can say whatever they wanna say, but if their idea of less damage is 10% less of damage… of a weapon that takes 75% of your health… which basically translates going down from 75% to 67.5% damage… I mean… c’mon… that’s basically NOTHING.
I’ve played many matches vs a last man standing guy and he was perfectly mudded up and not visible , could you please post a video showing the heat signature?
The deep meaning of the post get completely misunderstood becacause of the “ps4 vs pc” comparison, unfortunatly people get it personally and you cant even talk about it. The purpose of the post is to highlight the difference from the random pub game and the premade vs predator game. Before the patch was in favor of the fireteam , but still winnable for Predator , if you were REALLY good you would have won most of your game EVEN AGAINST PC SQUADS. Now the balance is toooo much in favor of Ft, but not because of the new items, but because of the new BROKEN Yautja Bane and Tick Skin perks. The new items , like all content for ft, only helped the game to keep alive and reducing queue time , that is a very huge thing. The problem comes when you buff an already broken perk into a beyond godlike perk. Despite the other changes the game require, I think that about the damage side , a nerf of yautja bane into 5% of damage buff (and lower point to 5) as well as remotion of tick skin changes can be fine. Need other things , reinforcements rework, longer missions and more slot for Predator. But of course the update that the game need ASAP is a change of these 2 perks.

I have a question that does not deal with the topic. Saw you playing with Dice on his twitch channel. Who was the pred in the match where he killed everyone but Dice? Its too hard to read the name

Dice posted a video on twitch yesterday. One of the matches was you, Dice, Abandon Destroyer and Damascus13. I was asking for the name of the pred you played against. He almost got all of you (Dice escaped and revived one other before doing that)
Was able to see the name of pred - Scrible888.
We are in the same clan, and we were only two in those games , we were chilling. I didnt remenber the name but I know almost all of the decent/good preds from Pc, if.I don’t Remember it could probabily be an avarage player.
