π§ [Suggestion] New Fireteam Class: Engineer + Deployable Auto-Turret
Hey IllFonic team π
I had an idea that could make Fireteam gameplay more tactical and help balance long-range Predators β introducing a new class: the Engineer and a deployable auto-turret utility.
π§ββοΈ Engineer Class Concept
- Health: 130
- Speed: Medium
- Armor: Normal
- perk: =8
- equipment: =8
Passive:
- Interacts with mission objects, ammo boxes, and health kits faster.
- Gives teammates +3 to +5 extra bullets per magazine (depending on weapon type).
βοΈ Specializations
- Infantry: Increases turret HP by +20% (around 5 Predator melee hits to destroy).
- Quick Hands: Damage boosted for 5 seconds after reloading.
- Mechanic: Allows placing one extra turret (not stackable if multiple Engineers are in the squad).
πͺ Utility β Auto-Turret
- Costs 6 gear points to equip.
- Range: 15β30 meters (medium range).
- Damage: 10β15 per bullet, moderate fire rate.
- Durability: Destroyed after ~3 Predator hits (5 with Infantry).
- Ammo Capacity: 100 rounds.
- Placement: Can only be placed on flat ground (not rooftops).
- Alert: Notifies the team when a turret is deployed.
This feature would make Fireteam coordination more dynamic β giving them a way to defend positions, especially against ranged Predators, without making them overpowered. It encourages teamwork, area control, and tactical defense.
What do you think of this idea? Could this be a fun and balanced addition for future updates? π₯
[Suggestion] Incendiary Grenade for Fireteam
Hi IllFonic team π
I have an idea for a new Fireteam throwable: an Incendiary Grenade to add more tactical options against Predators.
Effect: Creates a fire zone that deals damage over time to Predators in the area.
Duration: 5β7 seconds
Damage: Moderate per second (enough to punish but not kill instantly)
Throw Range: Medium, similar to standard grenades
Purpose: Forces Predators to move or retreat from defensive positions, and can synergize with other Fireteam tools like turrets.
Adds strategic depth to Fireteam gameplay.
Encourages team coordination and positioning instead of just direct shooting.
Provides a way to control zones or objectives more effectively.
