Ideas, fixes, additions and Game Changers

Being an 80’s kid and also a huge horror, sci-fi, and over the top action movie fanatic. I love jump scares and huge amounts of gore with a lot of tension and surprises. Yes i am old but I myself have seen the gaming world evolve and change over the years. Playing and owning every console from the atari to the introduction of online gaming and all the way up to the consoles and pc gaming currently available. I’ve seen video game superstars both game and develepers come and go. Some Good some bad some even sad (#socom/zipper, #Friday the 13th may they rest in peace) That being said this new gaming genre or style of taking classic horror/scifi movies turning them into a game are something I’ve dreamt of and i would hate to see this company fall to fate. Nor see anymore hardships or blackeyes on the developers nor there partners. (Fate of Friday) Actually I would like no love to see Rockstar and along Other huge developers reevaluate and have to make drastic changes industry wide. I don’t like the rush it out unfinished at full price then present add-ons and dlc packs for more money before they fix the actual game. If they even actually fix the game before pumping out another turd to attempt polishing. Illfonic has shown interest in changing things up bringing new genre and hearing out the actual fantasy. This is in hope they continue to do so. Its very depressing, reading the reviews and rants of critics and unhappy fan but also sometimes more often than not justified by a game or developers pros being outweighed with their cons. With this game Most of the bad stuff being small but noticeable. Yes it feels rushed unfinished but hopefully to be corrected soon With a few in my opinion only bigger problems to iron out as the game progresses. So here are a few of my ideas and all are just suggestions and ideas of 1 old fella from eastern KY but all the same a passionate gamer. I think Different variants in mission would be nice, as to give a more personal feel per match such as throwing different curveball scenarios at each side in the que such as a random match where the predator works with the fire team perhaps a mission to kill and a.i. predator which may be superior. Better yet it would be awesome to have a predator vs predator either 1 on 1 or a 4vs4 predators fighting to the death with objectives to be completed perhaps. Allowing a twist in gameplay and a sense of gambling throwing it at random during the cue thus lessening the long wait game to game and adding more options to play the games star pupil. The main issue as I’ve talked or read with everyone is the time spent waiting on a lobby and the ease of the predator death via fireteam along with lack of content and unpolished feeling. I propose this and its a few mods that shouldn’t be hard for the developers to adjust. I myself was and still am a huge fan of Friday the 13th game. Jason was much more menacing and able to offer several Jump scares and close calls each game. Personally I think there should be a process to kill the predator as there was for Jason but thats a lot of coding which means a lot of time. How about this crank up ole preds heath and damage to the point of godlike i mean make it where the predator should be big and scary menacing able to whipe out the team at any givin second only to be countered with an xp bar that visually goes up and down even to zero during game play forcing the predator to rethink strategy as to not end up with nothing at match end. The bar and xp within never seen by fireteam just end of match result. Along with daily weekly and monthly and all time leader board for bragging rights. Predators Xp being earned by stealth tactics, kill maneuvers and variety as well as patience and tracking. Later on adding more kills to the game and ways of perhaps displaying or hanging body’s as a trophy or scare tactic, giving photo opportunities and even new ending predator victory video clips of dead players. Also give the fireteam back there stronger weapons, ammo and health stations unlimited amount but timed reinforcement calls extending the wait time and until the a.i. systems made to be a lil smarter up the amount of them make a selectable hard-core mode tripling the amount of ai. If thats a resource issue of bots per game at a single time just extend out the time they continue to regenerate after death of each unit making more and more come output never more than whatever max amount at a time is. Also by adding a few extra mission objectives as well per-game and extending or eliminating the clock time to run more of a stealth mission and giving both sides more bang for the buck. Not sure how much it would play hell on servers but do away with mission timers. Or give the option to crank up or turn off the mission times. To me the clock in game is a smack in the face we aren’t seal team 6. Let us decide length of game
I understand its for resource purposes and also to keep everyone on the move but being more tactful and stealthy, moving slower as both predator and fireteam in my opinion would change the game and how its played tremendously. Plus its not been done before. If these things are done. Though then the predator should have ultimate powers the fireteam would have much more to do. The problem with the chopper system is its giving away swiftly position wise to the predator immediately so for this scenario make the chopper being called like the cops being called take away predators view of it only the fact its been called and have it so the fireteam has to call from one area and wait extended amounts of time. With a again curveball random denote come at this time. Allow the chopper with great and precise aim by the predator to be able to be either shot down or pushed back, thus having to be able to survive longer and call it in for exfil again from radios abroad. With each time the chopper returning stronger with a little more fight to it each return. I.e. Firesupport, mounted guns and adding Armour making it a last option each time for the predator. Even make it where the choppers no longer available and give a walk out spot that the predator can take a last head to head stand for fire team skulls… Up the amount of materials carried at expense of stamina regenerationAll of this along with future dlc adding predator missions animal collections. Actual skull collections of wild animals and a more formidable A.I. could also be nice additions. A silent movement ability with the predator costing stamina could work as well. I want this game to blow up and be something mindblowing as I do illfonic. Friday as I said launched and fell face down. They fixed it and definitely pushed to make the game what we asked for. I hope that this may spark ideas at the very least. Also hope that Illfonic is in no way offended or put out by suggestions. I have many more and hope that the actual team as a whole takes interest in the forum and not just a responder hired to answer questions. Let me know players what you think of the ideas and please add some of yours or change some of these. Illfonic you guys rock id like to see much more in the horror movie genre done up in a game …sorry for the long read, bad grammer and/or misspelling and punctuation.
