IDK, Just Not Feeling Gaming ATM.

Got home from vacation and unboxed PS4. Load up PHG. Play 3 matches of its bullshit bugs and glitches. Remember why I don’t play anymore. Load up SWBF2. Get matchmade ONLY into matches that have already started where the team leaves because all enemies are lvl 400+. Got to 1v1 @Fire. After that when matchmaking same only put into matches that have already started where team is all high level and our team is only potato.

Guess I’m going back to Jedi Fallen Order and Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga, just genuinely not enjoying anything else at the moment. I’ll still be on here, but my bro is probably gonna be the only one playing for a while. Or at least until I haven’t met my daily pain/rage quota.

It’s ok there’s no good highly anticipated titles coming out anyways, OP. We’re in a gaming drought and the only stuff being released are shitty low effort unreal engine clones, even back4blood is disappointing.

Just wait for the new battlefield and skip everything else.

Back4blood got put on my shitty unreal engine horde shooter list.

The dumb card upgrade system bloat where you choose between 5% accuracy or more ammo is obviously in place for microtransactions.
The gun and mod rarity stuff no one asked for just doesn’t flow well in a horde shooter at all.
All the weird feature bloat couldve just gone into an actual perk system but they clearly want to sell p2w grind stuff.
I wanted to play a shooter not an RPG card game :/

Feels like there’s way less enemies than l4d. Hordes are tiny or all line up & just compensate for it by being bullet sponges.

Are you saying building a “game” from pre-made mechanics and features from the unreal store is lazy and causing the industry to pump out uncreative shit? Because if you are , I agree

It really sucks. There’s some good stuff on public engines but its becoming fewer and far between & UE is just pumping out mass produced garbage. The industry is just outsourced devs putting existing blueprints together, adding a cosmetic shop & calling it a day.

There isn’t even proper gore in back4blood. You just empty your whole mag until the zombie explodes or just falls over.
Who makes a zombie game then cheaps out on gore? How do you have satisfying shooting in a horde game without dismemberment?

I only play swbf2 maybe one or two months out of a year… matchmaking is just so fucking bogus that it legit ruins the whole game.

No, didn’t get a new one. Just got back from leading a summer camp. Had it boxed up and in storage bc first floor flooring renovation.
