Seriously. The caster bolt exploding in my face because it couldn’t clear a damn corner or roof despite the reticle being a solid foot away from the edge is getting old.
If my plasma bolt hits one more damn corner...
I love hitting myself with a full charged blast and giving away my position. Lol I feel your pain.

Sigh… What do you expect when the laser is on the right side of your biomask, and the cannon is on your left shoulder. You need to clear both unfortunately.
i know its a movie thing but lets be honest here thats a shit Design for that reason there the aim is all over the place with a system like that
Well I dont disagree, The city hunter pred had his biomask laser on the same side as his shoulder cannon. So he knew what was up lol

I get what you’re saying…but I’m not sure this is the problem. I’ve seen this happen when peaking over a roof. It’s a horizontal plane that the shot needs to clear, it’s relatively level on either side yet the bolt is still getting caught when it seems like it should definitely clear.
Well the reticle and cannon offset is definitely the issue around corners.
But for roofs I think its more along the lines of the fact that the bolt isnt a laser, its a ball of plasma, meaning its thicker.
Its probably getting caught by the very bottom of its hitbox.
Both scenarios are no doubt… frustrating.
I think a hitbox tweak would be in order…that of course could potentially cause issues trying to hit the fireteam…
It most likely would, so I kind of prefer it as is now. Rooftop misfirings can be avoided. and even though its shitty shooting around corners can too.
It would be nice if we could get the hitbox to “grow” after a certain distance.

But I dont expect much from these devs. Especially not since it appears to take a full month just to make a playermodel of arnie, and a gun, and knife.
Kind of a letdown of a dlc, unless they have maps under that that they havent talked about.
Some cool sound should play as a warning the bolt will not hit the full length of the laser and they could have that exclamation mark or other cool predator signals as visual feedback.
It still collides with wires. Ive just been stepping out further than necessary in the meantime.
If the laser was on the other side it might get abit cheap with peaking. Dunno
