Correction: The third Option is No Preference.
The Option is already there man. If you don’t like the Fireteam or Predator Option, No Preference is for you.

They may actually do this if they add more game modes. I don’t think it’ll be completely random though. I’m pretty sure players will still be able to choose a preference and then you will be able to play predator or fireteam based on the other players’ preferences. This happened in Evolve.
Wait times on PS4 on a normal day is 5-10 mins. Down time I’m getting further stoned, practicing my guitar or bullshitting online. It’s really not that bad all the time.
