I love CSGO. I love all games that put skill and knowledge as the deciding factors in achieving the win.
Mortal Kombat, until one of their entries in like 2011-2012, was always at the lowest-tier of fighting games in terms of balance, tuning, and skill-based competition.
Street Fighter always had the edge on MK until then, and Iād say the gap has closed considerably since then, if it even exists now.
THAT SAID - Guilty Gear (any of them, really, I swear) is the pinnacle of fighting game art and science.

Guilty gear is cool, but I wouldnt say is the best.
Sf alpha and 3rd strike are really good.
Capcom vs snk 2, fun as hell and I wish it would come back, with the feel of old games.

UFC 3 is fun as hell. I never got great at it (playing mostly against computer opponents and making my toons just absolutely ridiculous caricatures of human beings, I think one of my characters was named āFirst Lastā) but I always enjoyed playing it.
For Honor, same thing. I know Iād enjoy it and probably get pretty decent at it, but I just donāt have the time to pursue excellence in so many games at once, and thatās the way my mind works.
Iāll want to spend the time to git gud, and I simply donāt have it.

3rd Strike is a masterpiece.
Thatās probably the one that Iām best at, simply because I know and have played against so many players that were better than me at it.
Guilty Gear is simply the best because of how balanced it is. It needs/needed far fewer updates than any of the other franchises because of the amount of time spent balancing it prior to launch and through the few updates it has gotten.
