If you use smokes and thermals for anything in this game plz stop playing. They are a huge disadvantage for yourself and its not like the hinder the Pred at all or even the Ai. Waste of gear tbh

I think what he means to say is that these gear are extremely situational in their benefit, and that most of the time they end up blinding the fire team more so than the predator. Most new players would be better off using something else, until they have a thorough understanding of game mechanics.

Even then they still dont really do anything atleast smokes. Thermals are good if you see the pred on a cliff edge you throw them on the ledge to force him to move other than that they have no benfits. 9/10 when I see a thermal I know its a decoy because the ft cant help but still make noise.

the predator is on the cliff in backwater, he is looking down at you. you throw a few thermals, and a few smokes. he cannot find you, and runs to the side of the FT. you all shoot at him, because you can see him slightly through the smoke. he gets seconded winded, and you make it out alive. this is personal experience, too.
So you came across a noobie pred? Why would the Pred engage you if they cant fully see the prey seems rather dumb. But agree to disagree they are still 99% useless then

Sure but if you say more than half of them wouldn’t it just be easier to cook a nade and shoot the pred while it flies through the air
what if you dont have enough gear points for a frag and instead ONLY have smokes, thermals, and field syringes?
and i totally agree a frag would be easier, but my loadouts sometimes only have thermals, smokes, and field syringes.

Inutile je suis d accord avec toi c est pour ca que j aimerai bien que illfonic fasse monter le ranger à 9 d équipement pour pouvoir mettre des equipement utile comme le drone et la seringue par exemple.

Lol noooo we need to even the playing field lol. I play both sides and I need my randoms to stop throwing thermals and smokes at exfill to get us all killed by the truck hitting ai and the pred we can now not see

Its actually funny when 1 or 2 FT members will start swarming the place with smokes and thermals - nobody can see shit (including me) then I just jump in Predator 2 style, and let the tracking on my katana do the rest XDXDXD
