If you were chief Dev for 1 day...

What would you do, specifically?

Fix the bow charging bug

See about quick and effective bug fixes, that above all. If I had time, then Balance.

I’d have two teams within the company to search and play for bugs and right them down as we discovered them, giving us time for when the next update drops we have the other team making the new content to have a bundled deal.

That way not only do you get bug fixes but also new goodies at the same time, then again I don’t think they have the resources for that

Pass the game on to a more competent team

Visit the forum, make a list of all bugs, clear them all out. Then worry about everything else.

I would have delayed the release.

Fire everyone make sure they are all black listed. Sell all the companies assets. Shut the servers down. Give all the devs a bad review so nobody ever hires them again, then live happily ever after with all the money i just gained

  1. Take note of all the bugs in the report section that have videos supplied and steps to recreate. It’s great if there’s a bug repory saying “Slam broken please fix” but we can only go so far if we’re unable to replicate it ourselves. Once we have that list, prioritise in from top to bottom:

Game breaking: Crashes, freezes, stuck points, any bugs that actively prevent the playing of the game

Gameplay: Bow bug, spear throw locking into walk, bugs that don’t prevent playing of the game, but can mess with a match

Graphical: Texture pop-ins, low res, eye flavour bugs and such

  1. Make sure everyone is feeling good with what they’re doing, and they’re progressing well. It’s all well and good putting all pur resources into fixing the bow bug, but it wouldn’t help if we asked the art team to help with that. It’d also be good just to kee checking in on everyone, make sure they’re feeling alright and not under stress, and keep up to date with progress made throughout the day.

  2. Be more active and open on not just the forum, but all social media. Having a good online presence helps give off a more open feel to the players, and staying connected with them by talking to them, answering as much as possible (where possible) and being helpful will help players feel more connected. Plus, being as open as possible about how we make balance choices, what went into those choices, our status on bug fixes, will help players see that we’re not just making new stuff for the game and ignoring everyone.

  3. Fire nobody, unless they are literally sitting on their ass all day doing nothing to help make the game better. Rash, and angry decisions will not lead to the best of impressions or looks from anyone.

But that’s just my 2 cents ^_^

I just don’t like Xenos. They’re only big bugs. 😜

I so badly want that to be rereleased!

Fire everyone and hire actual game developers to fix/re-do the game

You would get nothing done in day… no game fixes would happen in day.

I would of course set a few guys to start fixing the bow.
Start the process of have pred weapons show stats and also a damage scroll that shows how much damage your doing

It would be my day off, so I wouldn’t get anything done 🤷🏽‍♂️
