“Ooh lawsuit! Game dead! Abandon ship!” Nothing happens, Lawsuit doesn’t effect anything hell it doesn’t even stop them filming Skulls or making the Marvel Comics, we go back to our regurarly scheduled programme.
Same shit here. People think this is the end because how dare a studio have multiple projects at once, lose their shit and think it’s the end again… except we’re still gonna get the content throughout the rest of the year because Sony isn’t going to drop one exclusive for another when they can hang both out and get money from the pair of them.
Jeez it’s like almost no one actually understands how greedy a corporation is.

They couldn’t make the game run properly because of covid? But they could develop a whole other game?
No other points need to be made , the last 12+ months speak for themselves. They cant make one game run , but they will magically make two games run at the same time? 🙄

All along it has been the quality I have had a problem with, like I just said , they cant run one game , but they will run two games? Its more a slap in the face when people held out for this game.

It’s just a rollercoaster of people revealing how little they understand about the Legal System & Corporations.
Even IF Illfonic wanted to drop this game like a sack of bricks, Sony are their corporate overlords and would be demanding they continue to work on this game to have it make more money. You see this with every big game company. How many fucking Devs have Microsoft sent to the Forza Mines? Exactly.
Nothing justifies a piss poor product , which is put down to various excuses , to then pop up with another product while it goes unfixed.
Call it what you want , I call it grifting , also renders the excuses mute and exposes the shit ethics of said contractor

There’s worse games out there, way worse. This game was serviceable at the worst of times and is overall higher quality than anything else the devs have ever made.

I could see that. But at some point to see that things are not improving so they’re probably make a few more additions with the things they’ve been working with in the past and dedicate efforts to the new project
