Difference with this and when Friday the 13th was put it out is that the dev team was known on twitter. People would communicate with them directly, not a simple pr account. Find the devs and communicate with them. Spam spam spam. Theyâll get the point. These forums are truly useless for real issues to get answered.

I understand your feelings, you have good reasons to feel like that. I simply think they planned things for release, but got their balloon popped by unexpected events such as cheaters overflow. They are probably delaying patches release because of such issues. I hope that itâs not because they tried to chew bigger than they could with this game.
Another reason could be that they got a lot of content to come, but they try to be as much silent as possible before the big release that might be on may 26th. But again a minimum of communication at least for patches should be a standard.

Sure maybe. Dont get me wrong these are my feelings as far as their communication practices as a business are concerned. Im loving the game for what it is and dont lose sleep over what illfonic does or doesnt do. When i do consider it in a moment like this though its how it comes off.
I agree with what you say may be their reasons however part of me doesnt care what their internal reasons are. Business to customer communication entails reassuring customers even when shit is falling apart.
I follow other games which are rampant with cheaters and the lead devs are coming on to reddit and answering randos questions and everyone is thankful for it. It takes 2 minutes to make a forum post. it just isnt as difficult as it is being made out to be to actually communicate with your community. I would have thought at least you would want them to think you are a part
of it even if they are over reactionaries. Get a community manager or some shit lol to actually interact on your official forum.
As you say there could be a number of reasons why their communication is so poor. We wouldnt have to speculate though if their communication wasnt so poor.

I just looked at the twitter. On every post its full of off topic remarks regarding fixes etc. I posted simply âhey is roof slam working as intended?â Some people here would really appreciate an answer. A decent topic for discussion and easily answerable by a mod on an official forum id say. A yes or a no. Lol do they actually know of its working as intended ? I dunno man.
