How about illfonic actually ask the players what they want for the game they are paying money to play and purchasing the extra content. They should be going threw the forum and seeing what is being asked for and put a section marked as polls. This could be where they actually see what the players want and work on additional content the players want. Have voting and set times for the voting to close. Just an idea though.
illfonic needs to put out polls so we the players can vote on what we want.
Because they can’t give us what we want probably.
That have stated several times that they are taking note of what people are asking for. All the polls will do is make people make requests of things they aren’t going to do be put on the polls.
They can take note of everything people ask for and put it to a vote. If they say they listen then this is the best way to prove it by far.
But they should NOT really hold our hand on these things. They are the professionals. Really if they need to ask they should ask.
It’s called you tap into your “HR” human resources or “PR” public relations. They are part of every business and used for human interactions. Have them sitting there reading the post on the forum and taking notes on what we the players are asking for. Then put it to a vote and from there put it to a vote at illfonic, what is doable and what is not and let the fans know if what they voted for is going to get put into the game.
We are the ones footing the bill in the end.
While we’re on the topic of what we want…
Put my boy Jeri the synthetic Xenomorph as a member of FT and you now have a brand new FT main.
Exactly, the forum ppl aren’t necessarily the most sane of consumers out there. Let alone truthful.
With the so called best of us, most honest, or most cute…being anything but mentally stable.
The game designers there are the only things we have to hope for. They are the professionals seeking the judgement of corporate account holders and investors. Its for those who have the money willing to invest a couple of thousands of dollars per month who are the stakeholders. and those stakeholders are probably those businesses who have invested 10ths of thousands into stores, merch…etc.
But general consensus is general consensus.
That is fine and dandy but it is the consumer who pays for their product and therefore makes them the money to keep creating these games and therefore allows for investors to get their money back and then some. Tit for tat I would say where being that those who play should have some say in what they would like to see something they are playing become. FYI, give the players what they want equals more money for the creative team and the investors.
I think Illfonic is doing a very good job
OP you pay for a product not a role in the development process, just facts.
Exactly And not just ignored us as an consumers
The vast majority of people are not on the forums. Also the vast majority of people on the forums are predators mains.
LOL, which means I got to go! I want to be apart of the majority of sensible, normal people. Not part of the loony bin.
