Thatās why I set it to 5% on my mod. 5% was a good value that you would still get punished for blocking someoneās shots, but someone trying to kill you would have to empty 2 full magazines in order to down you.
Explosives were still too damaging even at 5%. I never bothered testing increasing FT explosive damage resistance since there were other things I was focused on. And right when I was finally making more progress, illfonic released V3 of the game and blocked previous versions from logging in to servers, essentially stopping that branch mod development. If we could still log on to the servers with that version, at least we could play private matches if everyone had the mod version 2.5. I have a way to have both versions installed in parallel on Epic.
So far our efforts to edit files on V3 or log on with V2.5 to allow at least private matches, have been unsuccessful.
Also, Iāve been out of it for a while. Iām recovering from a nasty habit/addiction that was hurting my finances and life in general and that involves healthier hobbies and more time out of the house.

There was room for improvement but like everything else it will still remain a project but to say anyone failed is beyond a doubt poor interpretation
The usage and probing for possibility definitely took priority just seeing what was possible has always been my personal focus as close to the original functionality as possible, how do you fuck this up

Make the pigeon playable as a disc and inflict damage to opponents by shitting on their heads. That would be game modding. Without SDK you canāt do that.
