Andrew took Dante Medic because he doesn’t like playing against a predator with a disc. In our private matches, the disc is not used, as it lays down the player in one blow. Also, we do not use a medic and a tracker in private matches. According to Andrew, you violated the generally accepted rules, so he also violated them when he took Dante Medic. If you kill a squad and make a long finish, in the next match we will demine you, and wait for the helicopter to follow you)

i cant use the same dpi for both disk and other weapons. Sniper, bow or whatever its at 800, disk is at 3200 on 1080p

I thought it was established that the predator doesn’t really have anything that is considered unbalanced. A coordinated fireteam will win most of the time no matter what the predator uses.
I don’t know about the settings for PC, but on playstation you can adjust the sensitivity for the disc by using the game settings. Therefore, it’s not really an exploit.

I mean, the disc is a weapon that evens the playing field against very tough fireteams in my opinion. I’ve fought Sam’s team and good playstation teams, and they had no problems beating me when I brought the disc.
I didn’t know the disc was not allowed in your private matches. I used it against you guys before, and no one complained.
Also, I didn’t know long claims were frowned upon lol.

Changing DPI in combat has been a thing since around 20 years back, people changed it when toggling sniper scopes, and many gamers still does it. All game developers knows this already, it has become more of a tradition imo, there are games where they have made it impossible to increase your DPI any further than what’s allowed in the ingame settings, one example is Century: Age of Ashes, and why shooter games don’t tend to do the same? i don’t know, tradition i guess?
Everyone plays at different DPI settings, when you play as the Predator you already play with twice as slow DPI by default if you compare with the Fireteam, why? i don’t know.
Being able to play with exceptionally high DPI requires high skill, the Smart Disc in this case can either be very rewarding, or a complete curse, game bugs, invisible walls, lag, all plays a role. The Smart Disc can be countered, but not very many players knows how to do it since there are so very few Disc Predators playing.
Animation cancelling, certain macros, exploiting gear, specializations etc is obviously wrong, yet people do it, some on purpose, others not. Most people animation cancel many times without even thinking about it, you can start reloading your weapon, then cancel it to swing with your knife.
The balance of the game is almost non-existent, it’s designed for 1vs1 combat with the Predator, player skill matters ofcourse, just like any other pvp game, but the balance of This game doesn’t exist. A full Fireteam with equal skill as the Predator player should have no problem what so ever at winning. Having 10 second spots which cannot be removed, Field Medic powers, stacking damage buffs, medkits, you know the story already.
In my opinion things that has no counter, absolutely no way to deal with it, should either be classed as overpowered and in badly need of getting hotfixed, or in worst case be classed as an exploit, abusing and stacking certain things. But we already know Illfonic can’t fix the game to fit everyone, they just did what they could for their highest player base and then moved on.
By increasing DPI with the Smart Disc as an example, you still need to fly it, and learn how to pilot it well, you need to become better and think harder and faster, it helps me dealing with all these things that never got any attention from Illfonic. The Smart Disc can still be countered, but like i said earlier, not many people knows how.
Increasing the mouse speed never turned a player invulnerable etc, DPI change has been there for such a long time it has become a normal thing to do in the gaming world, if a game developer didn’t want this to be a thing in a FPS then they would change it, just like they have done in other games.
So its not ok to use a broken predator class when the fireteam by itself is broken

as SAWZ sniper, requires skill to get OP, like high dpi disc. But everyone complains about SAWZ
