Illfonic suggested fix for Jumping/Climbing

(This may have been said already, sorry if it has but hoping Illfonic will change this)

My friend and I were thinking of a helpful way when you may accidentally climb trees and as well as a more fluent traversal.

Instead of using R1 to Leap…make R1 the predkour/tree climbing and tree hopping button and make HOLDING X (ps4 player) the leap ability. This way we can still do a small jump with X without randomly climbing trees.

It’s a simple but effective fix. Curious on how many people agree/disagree.

The best option is to customize your controls. You can use a combination of leap, jump, and jump/branch switch. It’s three different buttons, so if you want that… try it. I currently removed crouching so I can have the three combination. It has kept me from erroneously climbing the trees.
