So why is it that you’re just banning members for harmless jokes and memes?

Before you insta ban and delete,
This Is on topic and important as it involves the community.

Meanwhile you let @MassImpact124 run around insuting and be rude to everyone.

Also why isn’t @Elliott626 banned, hes actually insulted you guys pretty harshly before.
In a hypocritical fashion, he will insult you and this game, but then pretend to praise and like the game another day.

You guys need to start communicating with us.
So far you’ve been way to vague as to why your acting how you are and about your actions.

If you guys actually care about this game, then I ask you to take a different approach.
Cause all you’re doing Is killing your community.
People who have been here since the start.

Start responding to feedback.
Start responding to bug reports.
Show us you care.

If you want things to be more strict, then so be it, but at least be direct with exactly what you want.

Most of us have no idea why we’ve been banned.
And I say that sincerely.
I’m not being a smart ass or joking.
You have people confused.

You’ve had plenty of people, myself on that list willing to work with you guys in whatever we can to help the game.

Let’s not to try to kill us off yeah?
Dont kill off your community.

A tighter grip and adherence to the rules is one thing. I’ve always maintained “Illfonic’s house Illfonic’s rules”. I can understand, and historically haven’t blamed them for the lack of communication regarding future plans and content. This is unbelievable though. Deleting comments and posts without explanation or consistent application. Banning members left and right like some kind of purge.

One could assume it’s like tidying up the place before guests arrive or something. Maybe you expected an influx of new users with the PS+ release or something. Either way, all you’ve done is alienate a lot of long time forum members who granted may carry on with more shenanigans than feedback, still provide the principle purpose of the forums creation. Feedback and interaction with the playerbase.

To be truthful Fire, I don’t know.
When I meme blast Macho man getting angry technically it isn’t me actually going off the rails but me poking fun at an arguement. I hope we aren’t at a misunderstanding but i don’t see how you can’t see that its parody/comedy. We have crazy ass avatars here.

I obviously don’t curse cuss or swear or even damn the company that actually owns this forum as others do. Which probably is a good reason why they shouldn’t feed this community with too many answers lest they get their owns bitten off. There is a toxicity common in this forum and AFTE’s discord that I see. Toxicity is common in gaming and there is not point in feeding the beast if the community are going to behave like that. It would be bad PR. Their Release Notes will be the only thing we deserve.

And when i get into an arguement with a looney toon who knows they are a loony toon, its pretty much not taken seriously.
So thats my take. THeres nothing to be said about banning because there are other crazies(finess) who snowballs it into political or societal commentary that can be crack at times. From my perspective, its useless bantering on something on topic but completely rotten (because they are essentially not motivated, motivating or inspirational- this is not that type of forum) and desrves to be put to a halt.
We come here to talk about the game.
They don’t report about bug details but they do monitor bugs.

This. On a personal example I have posted Palpatine memes on the forums since my account was made last august. It was all in good fun, and I often use those gifs to show my reaction to things and parody forum events with a Star Wars eye, and the best part is the old (best) mods never had a problem with it. In fact, I’ve interacted with them through the Palpatine memes, and OKH found it somewhat funny, & they let me do my thing. But you banned me for making a Star Wars Opening Crawl parody of the dumbest arguments. With 0 prior warning. Just deleted & banned.

IllFonic I can say very confidently that you have shown us your true colors, and on principle I will refuse to support you all now and in the future. Great job, you’ve finally killed the community.
I’m actually somewhat disappointed & sad. This used to be a thriving, funny, unique community. Used to be.

We feel so strongly about this that I have made our own discord to replace the forums so we can have freedom of speech and interact with each other. We have had more fun there in the first 6 hours than the last weeks of what you have done to the forums.

And there we go. I was genuinely impressed by your poignant, well put and legitimate statement until this edit. Where you resorted right back to what you do.

You have an easily noticeable record of confrontation with forum members and very clear bias of console players. To the point of which your comments can often be interpreted as you viewing them as “second class” gamers unfit to share the space you occupy on the internet. Your very first reaction to the mass disciplinary measures taken by the moderators was one of celebration and taunting. Yet you’re untouched by any of this despite clearly going off topic literally every post and your abrasive treatment of people in general.

Oh it’s called writing shorthanded, as referring to IllFonic as ‘you’, in my post directed specifically to them is a lot easier than saying: ‘the game developing company designated IllFonic (restricted & trademarked), I have a message for mods, admins, and other employees of the forum’.

What does this have to do with the game? And why is this taken so seriously? Considering that you MAY use whatever you like. Its just hardware. Whats next? Sitting Positions? Chairs?

Abrasive and abusive treatment of people in the forums is irrelevant to matters of moderator actions in the community? You have literally created posts about why console players shouldn’t play the game an are inferior, IN the General Discussion section of the forum and you don’t see how that’s relevant or a problem?

Immediately insulting someone. You are the disruption on this particular thread right now you do realize that right? Your embodying the very thing you cheered the mods banning people for.
