Illfonic where have you gone?

Guys I love you but you gotta say something. So many folks seem to be putting the game down until it’s fixed or not coming back entirely. It’s performance has gone into the toilet since the patch and server crash. Please say something. Anything. We all want this game to succeed. It has moments of sheer brilliance and crazy potential. But absolute radio silence is crushing you IMO. What’s coming down the pipe??

This.

Honestly I don’t think they’re going to update us until the next patch is available and released. Maybe they’ll address their silence in the future? Maybe not.

But they’re being hounded on all social media platforms, and understandably so. Though I think some people are overreacting. I mean, yeah, it sucks. But name calling, threats, put downs, etc. is wack AF.

They’re definitely going through the forums and sponging feedback and bug reports. So at least there’s that.

Yes a large portion of people are over reacting.

Unfortunately those who arent are really at the end of their rope…

The only way they have communicated is through “REACTIVE” posts/ updates (someone prove mr wrong?)

They cant have a single human on this green earth smoothing this out? (Every single human with a wifi connection could be communicating on this.)

Someone that can handle this amount of disappointment after promises not necessarily being followed through with. (Pc/PS4 crossplatform partying/play) I play ps4 btw. Praying illfonics customer service team is up to snuff.

It literally takes one line of written (whatever language you speak) language to say, “something is coming”.

Radio silence does not equal success and is seriously sawing your foot off at this point (pun on shoot themselves in the foot)

Yeah some people are going totally nuts. But Illfonic is really not handling this well. I see what this game could be but at this rate if it ever gets there nobody will be around to play it. And they’ll have multiple failures to their name and possible shut down. Nobody wants to see that happen. At least nobody who’s not a dick head.

2 weeks in — and its the end of the world for illfonic…or maybe its the end of the world literally?

–didn’t you get the memo?

Haha, right? Yeah, honestly I’m not sure why they’re so silent but man, it doesn’t look good at all. I mean, everything will improve I’m sure, but I don’t understand how anyone would allow this silence. I understand they’ve dealt with negative comments and toxicity for years now, but at some point you gotta try to put out the flames.

That being said, it’s only been two weeks. It has plenty of time to improve. I have confidence that the game will in terms of content and support. But I’m referring to their communication, haha.

At this point I’m honestly not confident it’ll be fixed. The beta was better than where the game is now and it ran smoother. That’s a serious problem.

Listen, not even naughty dog have the experience to deal with crisis economic situations.

They are not Walmart, LCBO or whatever that have multinational-provincial-federal processes for shit hitting the fan non stop situations. …so a ‘radio silence’ for things that have FUBARED all around the world …is really a way of saying things all alright. PEOPLE 's ANXIETYIES are making things unright.

i mean i’m not surprised their community manager doesn’t neccasarily want to say anything currently Courier i think is his username i remember he used his real name too sometimes
the posts here are OVERWELMINGLY negative so there probably taking the NMS apporach to interacting with the community say nothing just work or at least that’s what i hope their doing
now that i think about it i think he was the editor for YT channel cowchop

Yeah you’re probably right. But I think the silence is doing far more harm at this point. It’s making people who defended them and the game lose faith.

It’s their only current project man, they have to support it if they want to stay in business. It’s going to happen, can’t put a time/schedule on everything unfortunately. Really? It runs MUCH better for me on PC than it did in the trial to be quite honest. Could STILL be better though, a lot better.

Oh dude, believe me, you’re preaching to the choir. I worked for a project where we essentially were told to do the same thing. That was until I went against the grain and hopped into the toxic ass forums, lmao. I was thanked for it, but man it was exhausting across the board.

The game has been out for two weeks, radio silence is something they a ton of projects have engaged in within the few weeks of release. It’s generally very negative and toxic. They ride it out and drop patches and updates. Eventually that all dies down and they communicate better and are more present. May not be the exact order, but similar routines have definitely occurred many times before.

I guess you can say “if you let angry anonymous fans let their stupidity ruin a game to have it shut down -it’s the fault of their own social upbringing. THank god that every IP is tracked so that we see everything thats going on in their country.”
AMEN~ let policy run it’s course. let those countries burn for their own negligence towards their people.

I was thinking in posting something like this today…thank you

they probably working on it.
And doing family stuff at weekends like any normal people would.

id rather have silence and good patches than all talk and no substance to show.

Also cant blame them for not responding to half the bollocks people post on here, they would get salt poisoning…

The people at Illfonic have to know this game will be what makes them or breaks them.

A game of predators among predators.

They do. They’re a passionate team that love what they do. If they didn’t care, their doors would be closed, and that’s that. They only have one current and “big” project, and it’s this one. They have to make it count.

There are a number of interviews that mention they have a lot of content planned. So I’d like to think they really do, and all the much needed support will hopefully come with it, or before hand.
