I think I know why illfonic made the game balance the way it is, it’s because in the movies the hero, main character, or whatever you like to call the human that fights predator was able to 1v1 it and win, so I think illfonic made the game balance based off of that. (I don’t agree with how the balance is but I think this is why).
@Kassinaillia could it be possible to confirm if this is true?

Yes they still win 99% of pubs, but you know because once in a while they get beat by a good premade they claim the game is so unbalanced.

The axe, especially with the right loadout, is an extreme outlier when it comes to single hit damage potential.
And the cloak audio on the traps is far too loud to be affective, unless of course you’re only referring to them in the sense of pairing it with the axe, in which case I would credit the Axe with most of the effectiveness in that situation.
No it’s not that. Its cause ilfonic can barely play ft and since most ppl cant they try to cater to that.
It happens in most asym games.
The human or team faction gets made too strong because of scrubs.
Theres also people who have no idea what balance is and think the team faction should be unbeatable cause they’re stupid.
These people couldn’t handle a fair fight.
But balance isnt the main issue right now it’s the glitch that let’s ft have unlimited gear. Seems like more people are using it now.

Fire has good points even if he’s a cheatin lil bish. Lol. As for the movie reference about 1v1 in the original Dutch was beaten in every way dead to rights , he got lucky that the JH just so happened to be under the counter weight . In pred 2 the pred was too arrogant and underestimated his opponent . In predators the supers weren’t what I would call top tier at all . That’s why the last pred couldn’t adapt and figure an adversary like Royce out
