Yes it was like 20 years ago

It was offensive to say the least but it took the power away from the white supremacists for that brief time as we all laughed at them together

There was a sense of unity in the air that was undeniable when it aired

Just went and rewatched it, he got a good laugh out of me with the lady in the audience throwing up. Liked the guys head exploding too. Very apt.
I’d never seen the Borat video you posted, there’s nothing wrong with it in my opinion. Borat is supposed to be a representation of how backwards Americans see some people from countries they’ve never heard of, I found most of the humour in how easily a group of middle Americans were swayed to do something so obviously fucked up.
I like Spring time for Hitler better but only because it isn’t taking advantage of the participants to find it humour. They’re different types of satire though and I like high brow bullshit better, 🤣.

I need something that keeps me paying attention so I don’t miss something. I like Sasha much better than the characters he plays, that guy is very smart. For offensive comedy I like the Aristocrats or some Bill Hicks.

Fucking Ryan Reynolds posted a tribute video to John Candy, I watched this morning when I woke up, that had me teary eyed.

I just realized I like old comedians, was going to add Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy to the list. Especially Pryor, that guy had the best timing in the world.

I grew up watch his movies. I think he was one of the greats. Probably the most relatable and humble too. Cool Runnings wasn’t that bad, watched it with my son and he had a good time.

Spaceballs is a classic.

It’s got a real slow start, but yeah I could see it being a classic. Tail end of a generation, no more movies like it. Modern director need to respect their audiences more, especially comedy directors.

If I saw that, it was when I was a kid. Used to watch movies like that with my mother. If I did though it’s lost in my head somewhere, likely the jokes were all over my head. I’m going to have to look it up.
