I'm bringing back the bomb topic, lol

It may be old news at this point, but the good ole train go boom predator bomb is still way too easy to defuse imho.

Now sure, we could add more glyphs, or force only 1 person to use it at a time, but I don’t think these are long term solutions. Sure, it would probably make more bomb explosions happen for the first few weeks at most, but people would get used to it and we’d be back to square one.

So, I drop a proposal that I’m pretty sure I brought up before but can’t remember! A high cost gear/perk that allows the disarming of the bomb.

It’s a simple thing I know, a 6 odd point gear item or perk that allowed you to disarm a bomb. But it may just allow for more explosions.

There are probably other ways of doing it as well, like increasing the difficulty of the bomb to be 8 glyphs (which could also work quite well) or making the blast radius larger (we’ve all been waiting outside the radius for at least 7 seconds before don’t lie, lol) but it’s just an idea to make bomb disarms more rare and enjoyable, rather than having a pred leave before a FT has even disarmed the bomb.

Thoseare just my 2PM thoughts tho, haha.

the problem with this is according to the daily “Win hunt matches” if you don’t defuse the bomb and it goes off no matter if literally everyone survives

you lost or perhaps you tied but you certainly didn’t win

so that means that defusing the bomb is actually core to the game the most they could do at this point is only allowing one person at a time and perhaps making certain amounts of failures set off the bomb with a perk that removes the chance of failure

Disarming it has to become a bonus objective and not a win condition if they do change how they are diffused. If only one person can try and they require a perk or a class, it’s not ok to leave it as is.

Defusing is rather easy.

I do agree with only letting a single player at a time try to defuse.

I believe a better solution instead of a perk is that If you fail any in the sequence the entire Process starts over again and the bomb now has less time till boom. They can Indicate that the bomb now has less time By the Predator having a Voice line something alone the lines as Opps or Try again ha and then skips to the next set of laughter.

Making it more difficult will increase detonations for veteran players for a short time only. It will also drive away some of the much needed casual FT players as they don’t play enough to learn the predator alphabet.

James Cameron thinks the difficulty should stay as is. The idea of a defuse perk is interesting but it should be low cost. One or two points at most.

I think the perk is not needed Making only one player try to defuse is okay but making the entire sequence start over if you mess up and decrease the amount of time you have to defuse is better

Limiting defusal to one person at a time is probably fair. Whoever opens the mini game first gets to try it.

It’s a win condition, as long as it is, it shouldn’t be limited.

It’s too easy to diffuse now, should give it 2 attempts then instant 💥 If the 2nd fails

For a super advanced race you’d think it would detonate sooner especially when it’s been tampered with for the 3-4th time.

Plus the only people who should be able to defuse that bomb is Rory McKenna or Mr Cameron

Sometimes James Cameron plays AS the bomb. He cannot be defused.
