Recently it kinda feels like the whole world has been.
Itās actually not too bad over here.
But then again I live in a medium sized suburban-rural town in Ohio when Iām not living at uni, so I definitely donāt see or deal with the worst. But I am street smart enough to at least not get mugged, shanked, or shot because I live like 40 minutes north of Cincinnati, and my uni is in (thankfully one of the better parts of) Cincinnati.
So far this semester Iāve only been in sketchy situations twice, but both times I didnāt even have to show my knives because in both scenarios I dropped the social mask and reverted to my emotionless self, kept my hands on my knife handles and told them that if they want to go that way, then one person is gonna end up dead, and I donāt die easy. I have a facial scar above my right eye, as well as numerous scars on my arms and legs, so Iāve got that going for me with intimidation. Ironically both times it was in a fucking Kroger parking lot of all places. Iām unfortunately not able to carry a pistol on campus, but my switchblades and butterfly knives are allowed, and Iām extremely proficient with knives.

Yeah muggings can be a pain in the arse if you arenāt looking for a fight. With reguards to knives, I just have my āmainā knife (a simple flip-open pocketknife of my fatherās) and a butterfly knife in my boot in case I need to surprise someone. Knives are very fun and very useful lmao
