I would like to have some melee too
I'm going to do a samurai build. What's some good tips and builds?
First tip
Don’t use melee
Second tip
Swap to hunter
Third tip
Plasma spam
Fourth tip
Profit
There are no tips.
Just
Use the sword
And the bow
But never go in for melee without having properly fucked them up with range first
The idea being you want them to go down in as few hits as possible
I’ve been doing that and I’m trying to mix it up
Use Ghost. Battle Axe. Fearless, Adrenal, Modified Reserve. Swing swing. Be wary of the dogshit melee tracking though, if you miss, you’re that FT member’s new toy
The only other option is to die
I less your against noobs in which case it doesn’t matter do what you want
Be mindful of your HP. Samurai has one of the worst HP. Take the tips about using range first before melee and use them, don’t start with melee. Katana is a good weapon to use because of the bleed effect, so after softening them up with plasma or bow you can rush in, stab once or twice and jump out. I wouldn’t use the axe, unless you enjoy living dangerously. It also has a bleed effect for the heavy strike, but most of the time you’ll miss, sad to say.
Overall I’d run katana/sickle, bow, perks probably adrenal, modified and medic. If you want to switch one of them out for a damage perk, I’d run fearless since hit and run melee will be your primary style of attack. I always run medic on every Pred, just so I don’t waste time healing and if I go SW I can do it insanely fast and avoid being chased. You can switch this for large pouch if you feel more confident.

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind
