I use complain how hard it was to parry while holding the gun and to tell the truth i still don’t have it down to a t completely, but I’m better at doing it then when the game first came out, parrying with a gun is so rewarding and really strong I’ve even once been able to parry then use shyrigne to heal then back peddle then parry again and shoot all though its very situation and hard to do its very strong,so I’d say I was wrong and it should not be more easy to do in future patches, parrying while having the knife out u don’t gain from it when your 1v1 with the predator when the rest of the ft are down or dead, parrying with knife out in a group u do gain as a good predator would back off being sent back and getting shot at.

i found parrying to be relatively easy specially with the knife out… also i never back paddle if the environment allows it. strafing makes it extremely difficult for even claws to lock onto you, it also creates distance when the pred uses the combistick and you dont get affected by its aoe swing damage.
but a group of FT knives that charge you and sandwich you against a structure your wrecked… your parried, cant jump out and your sliced in seconds and before you know it your predator is staring at that blue sky asking whats after life.
