It decades up to a decade to develop an effective vaccine for a strain of the Flu. They developed a “vaccine” for COVID in less than a year… And a coronavirus is a conglomeration of multiple viruses, much more difficult to combat than the Flu

Oh I am skeptical of them. However, I did the research and consulted several doctors given that I personally have an autoimmune disorder and severe asthma, and I made the choice to get vaccinated accepting all possible risks. Whatever long term effects happen, I am fine with and am willing to accept.

This is technically correct, you do not need vaccines to achieve herd immunity as it would eventually occur naturally. However, this puts those in risk categories at greater risk for catching the disease and its side effects. The vaccine is meant to 1. Protect individuals from the virus and its effects, as well as 2. Protect those at risk who cannot get vaccinated (such as the risk groups mentioned before).

This is because for years before COVID, scientists were working on a vaccine for SARS and the common cold, both being Coronaviruses. As SARS-CoV-2 is a new mutated strain of SARS, they simply switched what strain the vaccines were meant to effect and ramped up R&D to get it out. Experimental, yes, but also effective.

The irony is that the risks associated with getting the vaccine outweigh the risks associated with getting infected by the virus. This can be said for every vaccine ever produced. There are so many accounts from people that have been negatively affected by vaccines but you won’t ever see this reported by the mainstream media.

It’s all about control.
