I really want this DLC / Patch to blow my mind tomorrow. I want Illfonic to be like " Surprise MF’s , you get a new game mode or map as well!" I want this game to succeed because I love the subject matter and despite its flaws I do enjoy playing.
Sadly , I feel that I will be underwhelmed and stop playing because I’m level 100 and earning veritanium is random and tedious.
Ugh.
sadly you have to tone your expectations to be er “low” were just getting a skin a new gun (that’s hopefully not better than all the other AR’s) and new collectiblies (yay lore)
at most you should hope for balance changes and bug fixes that you or others want
that’s all we can hope for

To be honest the first dlc is not as good as I hoped (as someone said it’s a skin, a gun and 2 free audio logs) , so I won’t be jumping back into P:HG anytime soon. Basically nothing new important and still a gigantic lack of content that may be filled later this year (hopefully).
It’s sad.
I have had lots of fun for a time, but only boredom remains from this game for now.
But I’m very glad that other people enjoy it! It’s very good and healthy.
If ,IF, the new patch fixes at least the frame rate on PS4 and balance issues, I might give it a run and see how it goes.

I’m worried that Illfonic’s going to give us some crappy changes that nobody asked for or break the game with even more bugs. A new game mode or map would be amazing, but I doubt that’ll happen this soon after release.
