I'm not complaining but...?

Okay so, as most of you will probably assume instantly that this is my complaint for the actual game going to have paid DLCs, and yeah i get that they need money and stuff to survive, but so do we, starting on from the actual game price that is 40€ (Euros) and 60€ for deluxe edition, the game in my opinion on what it has and what is now somewhat planned for it IS not worth the money, judging by the content and my 200+ Hours of playtime (dont judge my playtime i love the game xD) … And again this is not me complaining but ITS ME giving my opinion as a free human and i have freedom of speech, and this is not a hateful speech btw… So technically the actual game on this current path will not end well, the chances are that they actually balance out paid DLC + free content is very slim and most devs that actually succede in that are actually fully aware of what players would love to see and feel and play in the game… Now example “Evolve” Its a game that literally had the amazing content … But oh well what this topic is all about is perfect example of Human Greed (not that serious one as they really want to balance it out and I HOPE THEY DO)…

Again THIS is not me complaining but i can guarante that there is almost the same exact opinion hidden inside all of you guys, except you guys keep it hidden and preserved to not come out…

P.S I am infact excited very much for this new update and to verse arnold lmao… and ofc for future updates too

I think the worst part about all of this is the fact that people can hardly play or enjoy the game and we’re met with paid DLC.

On top of that, while I’ve put 60+ hours into it, it definitely doesn’t feel like a complete release. I’ve enjoyed it sure, but the experience in its current state isn’t for everyone. It’s $20 less than AAA MSRP, but there are $20 titles that have more content and replayability than this. Hell, I’ve played Early Access games that are more stable and have more content.

It makes me think that those that haven’t purchased the game should just wait for all the content to drop. Cause then maybe it will not only feel more substantial, but it will only be a flat price. Hopefully it will be more stable then as well.

Appreciated that you agree with me on most facts cause tbh they are the facts and we cant just unsee them and act dumb etc…

And yes it deff is worth like 20-25€(which is like 30$) for what it represents now… and the actual deluxe should have costed 40€ (50$)… and this is not me trying to force them to withdraw the prices and change them… i think its kinda bloated but oh well its a small team and they need to show their bosses they can do it and be strict and stuff… anyways thats all essential i guess for companies but thats not what we players want to actually know…

Anyways this can go multiple ways for the future of the game and some of them are kinda hard to achive BUT its achivable…

Oh of course man! I’m generally an optimistic person, and people have bashed me on here for that, lmao.

Eventhough I never once said the game was perfect, everything’s great, etc. I just remain hopeful that in time everything will improve, which doesn’t make me blind to its imperfections. I just enjoy a lot that’s here and I want to see it improve rather than get worse.

You’re right, it can go several different ways. Unfortunately all we can do is wait and see. Until then I’m curious to know if this DLC will even be worth obtaining. Also, how much they’ll charge for it. Cause after paying $60 for the Deluxe and still missing my preorder bonuses. I’m not looking to drop another $5-$15 every month. That’s silly.

Yea it’s dope that we get new content, but having paid DLC and they haven’t even attempted to fix the core mechanics of the game…this doesn’t look good but I hope they get their act together soon

wym? they posted on the forums this morning about the DLC. Or do you mean not a word about the server issues? I agree with that, they should have some better communication when it comes to server issues and such but it’s still nice to see that they are creating content for the game.

They have been working on this DLC since before the game came out. Here is a quick quote from a interview with EW

“It would’ve been impossible in the current day,” Gerritzen says, referencing the shelter-in-place environment caused by the coronavirus pandemic. “We recorded [with Schwarzenegger] like a month before everything started going sideways. When we first started talking with him, it was before he started filming Terminator [ Dark Fate ] and then he was doing all this other stuff.”

Just drop the DLC just 1 day after the “free content update” and im good.

Please god fix the games bugs and the empty lobby issue. There are way higher priorities for this game other than DLC and new content. Its a bug infested mess currently. I wouldn’t mind the balance issues as much if it was for the constant bugs both ingame, during matchmaking, and even empty lobby bugs.

Yea I know about this already and I keep up with most information, however the DLC is only as good as the game. It’s great game, but the mechanics need some fine tuning…without it the DLC becomes useless if it doesn’t function properly in game as is should. We will get new weapons, but we already have weapons issue now that aren’t fixed yet. New skins, we already have issues where some ppl haven’t received their stuff from the deluxe edition yet and certain glitches on skins that already exist before DLC…so they might want to fix that before ppl pay more money for stuff that doesn’t work is all I’m saying
