I'm surprised no one is bringing up the Net Gun

There’s a small percentage of Predator players out there that know the Net Gun is the Predator’s only real defense (I should say offense). I’m in and out of games, dropping to ground level in the starting area, running up and literally netting the team one by one (maybe jumping in and out as needed in between kills) and getting some wristblade swipes to down with a quick execution.

Anyone else doing this? If you are, or if you have played against a Predator that has, my suggestion as a simple balancing option would be to provide a perk to Fireteam so it severely reduces the entrapment time.

Thoughts?

To be honest that isn’t needed for one primary reason: if the fireteam is competent before you can even net another the first one is already free as all it takes is one knife swipe from an ally and the others are blasting you or charging with knives depending where you are at the time I also had an experience where I think as I was shooting a net at an ft he would slash his knife blocking the net entirely( this still needs to be confirmed mind you)

You can get your teammate out instantly so with coordination the net gun is not that powerful. But a lot of teams are not coordinated so lol

I don’t think you understand, I’m talking using the Berseker, Net Gun, with the Trapper Perk. I think it’s around an 8-10 second entrapment. Usually in the heat of battle, Fireteam players are more focused on dumping bullets into you - not cutting their friends free. Sounds like you went against a team that was comm’ed up and some guy sacrificed himself with bouie knife-jutsu to deflect your wristblades from his comrade. That’s just an unlucky game. Lol.

I’m speaking from experience with consecutive wins, so I know it works, but I’m sure there’s some Fireteams out there that just mean straight business. Haven’t ran into too many yet.

You are lucky then, The teams I run into are the cohesive ones that take pleasure in doing the hunting and most times are in party chats. I win some and lose some but that’s the thing: everyone has different experiences so it’s hard to speak from personal experience to support facts since everyone gets something different.

As for that particular match the rest of his team escaped and he was just trying the knife attacks and I backed off and shot nets and he knifed the air and my net split apart, I need to confirm if that’s a thing or not but that’s what it looked like to me XD
