Important question. May determine the rest of your lives

I’d rather look like Jar Jar Binks and become a unironic Sith Lord, fixing Star Wars and undoing the Sequel Trilogy.

I would rather talk like Jar Jar. It’d be better than looking like an ugly alien with a face like a donkey and a snail had a baby.

Jar jar’s ears are cool though he just needs to apply himself.

Easy question.

I don’t know starwars universe at all, bit i wander what the evolutionary advantages of his for are (ears mainly). It looks like they are to his disadvantage during a fight and I still can’t believe they haven’t been light-sabered off.

I expect he can hear trouble a mile away, so a not stupid gungan could be a good spy. Plus they’re amphibious and can jump very high, so good at space-sports.

Maybe. The ears don’t look designed as a noise capturing structure. I wonder if it would be good to have such sensitive esrs anyway. Hearing all the noises, not being able to sleep perhaps.

I can’t remember where, but there is a game that has a gungan gangster as a villain and they tuck the ears behind their head with a band, like a ponytail.

Style over substance. I can respect that

There was also a one eyed Gungan bounty hunter called Kleef innthe Wii version of The Force Unleashed, a boss in the Bespin level.

Wookiepedia says that long ‘ears’ are like fins that help with swimming. I’m not sure if they are ears at all tho. The site keeps bugging out for me so i was annoyed and didn’t read more

That’s better than big, stupid ears!

Yup. I wouldn’t mind looking or sounding like that cause i think in the movies nobody really gives him a hard time about it (i could be wrong). The character design and voice has a propose that was supposed to be comical, i think, but instead became associated with annoying. Humans don’t like caricatures of themselves i guess

I never had a problem with Jar Jar personally, but then again I don’t really have many problems with the Prequels in general beyond Phantom Menace having a bit of filler and Attack of the Clones being rather mediocre in the 2nd act.

Though Qui Gon does give him a bit of shit in-universe, for example the evergreen quote of “The ability to speak does not make one intelligent.”

But speaking does help to communicate. Even if not very intelligent, there is still that need.

I was never big on star wars, but i watched original trilogy a few years back and it an interesting universe.

The two best pieces of Star Wars media IMHO, outside of Episode 3 & Episode 5, are The Clone Wars & KOTOR2. They’re basically the peak of the franchise, and even if you’re not a SW fan I’d say are generally worth experiencing at least once.

I think i played KOTOR 1 but that was before the movies so i didn’t really care about the story that much. Lol

Do I have to be limited to just one?

Yes
