I did a test and went into a private match with a friend to test the perks exact effects…
Playing as the Predator WITHOUT the Impenetrable perk, it took him 25 shots at mid range with his pistol to down me. Then in our next private match WITH the Impenetrable perk on, shooting me and with the same pistol my stomach at the same range took 27 shots to down me. That’s hardly any difference!
I think technically it’s an 8% difference.
On a side note, the XP perk only gives you 10% extra XP.
My opinion is that if I’m going to fill up one of my valuable perk spots, that perk should make a decent difference. Not OP, but not a “light as a feather” difference that some of the perks.
Some perks are currently amazing… you can tell that the Long Jump and Light Bender perks are awesome… they affect your gameplay… but others like Impenetrable and XP are trash… please take out the trash.
Improve Impenetrable Perk! Please improve perks.
Wow that’s it? Taking that off my scout…
I forgot to mention I was using Berserker for this test. Feel free to test the other classes.
Yeah, curious to know if it scales based on class.
i would assume it would scale based off class now as it stands remember hunter/scout has natural dmg reduction regardless of taking the perk so the perk might not even work on those classes since normally if 2 effects are the same (dmg reduction on trees vs impen only impen takes effect they do not stack) then only the stronger one takes effect albeit i know shotguns are unaffected by that change
therefore berzerker would have the largest benefit from equipping the perk assuming they don’t stack
but if they do stack then the other classes would benefit more
albeit i’d rather they just remove all perks that effect dmg+ or dmg- as they become mandatory for both sides this would allow for more build variety or make them very niche ie dmg- while in trees is fine cause your a easy target anyway in trees
Every perk that increase something is just 10%, jesus christ what a shit useless perks… For pred the perks are shit… For FT its actually good, cause 4 players have perks that stack together…they dont even know ho to apply desctription numbers for the perks… Sorry for crying but its a embarassing its not in the game already 😁😁
That’s a good idea… the perks need to be improved but an easy start would at least be to share what percentage the perk is actually changing something… it will help us make better decisions
