Improved game modes can greatly improve this game.

Rather than create a completely new mode and split playerbase maybe improve the base game mode in an iterative manner.

My idea to iterate on the current hunt mode is to add a new early game objective where both the human team and the Predator compete to hunt a target and then get an item the target is holding to a certain location/ for predator get the target’s body to a certain location.
There would be new enemy types during this some that focus on predator before fireteam and have new tools to help see him.
If predator takes out the target before fireteam he has to take the body to a certain point where success would treat him to a scene of skinning and hanging the target. (perhaps the victor of this early objective gets a zone of the map that offers extra buffs/bonuses if they return to it through the game while the tradeoff would be taking the time to go to that area)

The idea is for this phase of the game to allow for more action but also have unlimited reinforcement and an option to reinsert another predator.

Once this phase is over the game moves to the normal hunt phase that we currently have. No more extra reinforcements for fireteam at this point and no extra reinsertion for predator at this point. Its now the regular hunt mode again.

The benefits of this new phase would be a period of high action that allows players a second chance if they are taken out first very early where the predator and team compete over the same target before turning on each other once the game moves to the current hunt phase. This would be beneficial for new players/bad players as it eliminates those frustrating games where they instantly die before having any fun…as well as adding a new cool objective.

Solid write up for phases to improve gameflow OP because there’s an issue with the game just ending in 5 min or turning into an arena shooter standoff/chase where the AI is a completely irrelevant addition to the game. FT missions have no interaction with the pred at all nor affect the outcome of the match in the slightest except as its own outside win condition consisting of a couple filler fetch quests to speedrun while breaking 2-3 alarms.
Glaring issue, we don’t know why there’s no phased gameplay and it currently makes no difference whether you end the game at 3 mins or 9 mins.

Unfortunately we’ve given up on all improvement of mechanics so we just say new game mode entirely.
Clash doesn’t even get any kind of tree melee.
