In regards to Trash Talk

So, I have been made aware, that in Game trash talk has limitations on what is okay and what is not.

This is news to me, since I was molded into the
Gamer I am today by the golden Days of Call of Duty, Halo, and Gears of War. Not to mention playing Golden Eye with the friends of old.

The trash talk there was on a completely different level. Little kids saying that they gonna fuck my mom lol. And such.

But I digress, the true meaning of this post. Is to differentiate that Trash talk and hate. I am guilty of hate talk

Trash Talk is my views is just a way to make the losing team to want to strive to be better next meeting and kill the Trash Talker!

Hate Talk. Is belittling the players for being ass at the game, and that only Makes the losing players not want to keep playing the game. And that is not right. Nobody should do this. I am guilty of this and will change the behavior

Trash talking is fine as long as you don’t belittle the player, Just keep it to the get guds and winner winner chicken dinner type of trash talk. No need to tell players to uninstall and just stop playin that is going to hurt the game.

Plz keep it civil

The Golden days lol! I miss those days. Of Being called a scrub for getting 360 no scoped lol. Or being called a noob tube bitch boy who’s family must be dead. Lol the good days

I sometimes curse while in a Hunt but usually I don’t mean it against a player specifically.
Though I sometimes could hit my head against a wall when I hear kiddies ask not to be killed. Like wtf this is the purpose of the game. Why did they even get it of they don’t want to get killed.

Cursing is a spur of the money type in game. Its more of the end game lobby if you are there telling said kids that they are losers and then use derogatory words and such to belittle them. Thats a big no no now a days and is frowned upon

I know.
I only asked them once why they did buy the Game if they didn’t want to get killed? Because it being one side of the game mechanics. Unfortunately I didn’t get a reply.

I avoid any derogatory remarks to the opposition unless they start flinging insults my way. I don’t think it adds to the game. My thing is to use my voice distorter to repeat their own words (or in-game character dialogue) back at them for fun and just to add a little more authetic Predator atmosphere.

Obviously on the occasions where I have encountered salty trash-talkers I’ve introduced them to some powerful ‘gitgud’…

Thats what I normally do. But sometimes after dealing with 4 medic trash Im a little disgruntled and the filter has been removed due to frustration

Not likely. I have officially cut ties with Horn. Demon I can work with cause with me he usually just does the get gud cause we are laughing the whole match. But the other sucks the life out the game

Ummm Idk, When I did play with Horn Goth would only come for the Private matches so he can kill me cause we are always trying to better each other.

This is the thing. I can understand in the heat of the moment people getting frustrated and lashing out. I wouldn’t think too badly of someone who was prone to occasionally ‘loosing it’ in circumstances where there’s been a heated battle and things have seemed unfair, but it’s never a good look to call someone trash after they’ve beaten you, and perhaps even worse when you say it to someone who you’ve beaten.

I do my best to play by the adage “Be gracious in defeat, humble in victory” - obviously this can be hard to live by if you’ve just had your ass slaughtered by 4x Dante Field Medics on Extraction, or you’ve just beaten 4x Dante Field Medics on Extraction.

Cant speak for Horn. But I will agree!

But yesterday I learned that a large group in the community was trying to 86 me because of Horn. I know I trash talk but it’s usually just trash talk but my name was sullied by who I associate with.

I didn’t cut ties with horn cause he would trash talk people cause thats not my man or child can’t control his speach, i cut ties with horn cause I dont want to be dragged through the mud

I try but unfortunately I personify little man Syndrome lol and my fuse is short and I have the NYC unfiltered mouth that gets me into deep water. I try to keep it in the game tho and never reach out after the fact unless its to say ggs and ask for a rematch lol
