Like,…its all some weird layered secrecy. Like Samhain seems to be an independant bloke with a poor upbringin but everyone from Rigtig to fantasma seem to use the same accounts because i recognize the midgets voice (“comedy midget” not real midget)…and he jumps accounts so obviously people who do that need to in order to test things.
But any of those russian blokes who “keep playing for fun” are up on it. Samhain is too and probably gets coupons for compensations. NOBODY in real life plays that much PHG beyound 2 years. NOBODY.
Any real reason for Sam to keep playing would be an over reliance on steam coupons gifted to him by Illfonic for doing videos. thats it. And he’s so strung out and this high, he litereally doesn’t care that someone has a picture of him and an old lady (mom) in which we assume is real.

We quit it because we have real lives. Not that it was in any way a horrible game or that we took advantage of potatoes. nope. game is swell.

You know it all makes sense because IllFonic made this as a cash grab. They don’t want to keep putting resources into the game because they’ve already funded their next projects. But they’d pay off someone with coupons to keep promoting it to new audiences and more potatoes to give them money.

Fair enough. I do like chatting with people here, but the place is out if control sometimes. It requires a dedicated moderator, but like you said, VPN will go around bans and the more the forbid the more fuel to the fire will be added. And who has time for that anyway. the banning or closing of the forum has nothing to do with me being a saint. I ain’t. Never claimed to be.
The forum is abandoned and needs to be either actively moderated or closed.
It goes to show how much people here want to “protect children” but don’t give a fuck when pornographic content is shown (illegally) on a website that is not adult oriented, specially when we all know the vast majority of the playerbase are children.

How do kids get mature games? Surely Steam or Illfonic should have some kind of age checks. Not that you cang go around that, but that’s why the should do a better job with it. What happens if a parent emails them that their kid was able to buy the game?
ESRB Ratings are guides, not law. They are there so that parents use their “common sense” and have an idea to decide what games their children play. Whether the parents follow the guidelines or not is up to them, not to the government.
Now on pornography, yes, showing or exposing pornography to children is illegal, at least in the USA at the Federal Level. Regardless if said exposure was done on purpose or not, knowingly or unknowingly.
Because this forum does not have any age restriction and is a public website without any warning of such content, posting pornography here is a crime in the USA and both the content poster as well as the website owner are held accountable for it. Obviously if the poster is not from the USA, following prosecution may be almost impossible, so authorities often prosecute website owners.
This is why after FOSTA-SESTA craigslist banned prostitution ads. The government would have go after them rather than sex workers.
