I loved avp 2010. Just want this game to succeed and I truly don’t think adding aliens will help. I believe it would hinder

Lets just ignore all the extended universe lore that had AVP work and that the AVP movies downfall had nothing to do with the crossover itself, and was down to bad writing and bad lighting. Not to mention we’re not asking for the alien to take center stage. Just a couple of new modes and cosmetics.

Please stop asking for Aliens… if this game was going to introduce xenomorphs then it would’ve been named avp from the start. I’m not trying to be a hater but we all know it’s never going to happen… they can barely get predator dlc out and barely get the AI to work right.

I like AVP one. I even enjoy avp 2. But however you slice it the Tone of AVP just butchers each franchise as a whole. Predator is meant to be stalking, waiting. Then kill you. Avp has the predator become a gladiator. Ehh. Like I said time and place. And this is not the time or the place. In my opinion of course

A. AVPR was supposed to have a segment where the predator hunted the aliens like he hunts humans, but the higher ups had it changed. AVP doesn’t specificly have to be action
B. PHG doesn’t exactly fit into the category of stalking your prey with how loud the pred is.
I mean, the term gladiator fits all AvP Predators as well.
Answer me this. In all the comics, video games, and even parts of movies, you see Jungle Hunter, from 1987 fighting the Big Chap from 1979 the same way as EU/AvP Preds like Wolf or the Elite Predators fight Xenomorphs?
No? That’s because those guys are actually gladiators, souped up Predators in world, able to fight Xenomorphs, and vice damn versa.

Ok so now let’s ruin the tone of alien. The perfect organism being “stalked” and having no clue. Yeah right ok makes sense to me. Either way one or the other is going to suffer to fit the avp narrative. And B I sneak up on people all the time lol

And as I’ve said I’m not apposed to being a warrior predator fighting aliens, just not in this game lol. If they added a HUGE expansion pack that they put TONS of time and effort into, and made mission you could play with your friends, like predator co op vs aliens. Then maybe, I just have 0 confidence it would be done right

If it ruins the pred, predator 2 already did.
Both of these characters have had action in their movies. Just take these and combine them

I love aliens and predator 2. But you keep misunderstanding the point. This is not the time or place. Add aliens to this game and more than likely destroy the tone of the game, and also not to mention the game is basically broken as is

Not the Jungle hunter, but the city hunter at the end of predator 2, and the tracker predator, in fact the Jungle hunter did have a big fight with gold fang at the end of predators. Gladiator fighting is a norm for preds (given the right circumstance of course) . it just wasn’t introduced in predator 1.

Well ya it would take time. Siege’s equivalent of what this would be is outbreak. That took 9 months to make, and replaced a map. PHG does need to time to grow first. But its not an outright no.

Plus you don’t have to play the modes. I’d imagine them be completly optional.

Yes?? Like I said?? Lol and alien, belongs in a horror game. Like the successful alien isolation. And if they do an avp game like 2010 with a thought out combat system that makes sense for both creatures. Awesome. But in this case adding aliens would be more complicated than you’re implying
