Mission and setting - extraction of facehuggers from certain location which is cave system lab run down by Xenomorphs with a small forested area nearby. Another mission could be to restore power, rescue a VIP who can unlock explosives cache (biometrics), set explosives in certain locations to destroy the lab. Cave has a few lighting fixtures in main area that can be initially destroyed and repowered by FT permanently. Cave system is interconnected with some upper floors.
Game mode – Predator vs 4-5 FTs vs a few Xenomorphs AI and eggs/facehuggers. Night mode
Pred – new mechanics – cling to certain walls/ceilngs with wrist blades and able to shoot plasma caster, handheld, wrist launcher or throw combi stick.
FT – new mechanics – flamethrower, flares, night vision goggles
Xenomorph AI – simplistic, climbs wall, limited to certain area of the map. Attacks until less than 40% of HP remaining, goes into hiding in cave holes until HP regens – 1-2 minutes to regen; cannot be killed. When FT commando is less than 25% health, Xenomorph attaches them to the wall or nearby structure; commando can be free by another team member only. Deals damage only to Pred. Pred becomes main target when uncloaked.
Eggs (facehugger) - scattered throughout the caves. Can be destroyed; pred would be interested in activating them while FT in destroying. Facehuggers are easily destroyed but once they hit pred he loses 50% HP; once they hit FT is instant down. FT with facehugger must be picked in 10-20 seconds; if not reinforcement is possible in 5 minutes max or chestburster will appear and that FT member is eliminated permanently. FTs have flamethrowers and flares;
Boars – pred can feed on boars in the forested area; alternate food source may be needed or to give pred 1-2 extra healing kits
Timed evens are up for discussion as it is hard to know if 1 or 2 minutes is not enough or too much without actually testing for it.
Once this simplistic Xenomorph AI is implemented, Xenomorph can be introduced as a playable character with more options.
