Invisible 100% or NOT???!!!

Last nite I came across an very good fireteam I managed to get 1 but others escaped

My question is this: How in the flying fuck does one member of the team is able to see me when I’m invisible I was not moving for well over 30sec and heard them hunting me down…They were chasing me all game so I’m pred main on PS5 and cross play is off

You don’t need to see the predator in order to locate him. That is one thing they did very well in this game and that is spatial/directional sound design. Almost too well.

Noise & the foliage pred is standing on moves differently.

Its really overkill but so was the stomping at launch so I think its a relic from that. And FTs low stamina breathing is the loudest thing in the game next to gunfire.

Weird sound design decisions.

Mmmnah they didn’t do it too well because cloaking isn’t as effective as it should be. Predator croaks way too much, and that’s on top of all the noise you make doing everything else.

Predator should be near silent vocally when cloaked. No one should be spotting you standing still while invisible.

I think this should be voluntary, situational. Like in match be able to adjust the frequency of clicks and hoots, from zero to “over here” could make for fun baiting situations and scaring some

They completely botched the predators chat wheel… everyone immediately knows when it’s the predator vs friendlies because they sound fucking sinister lol so dumb.

But I really think when cloaked preds should be silent. Let them click when they’re further away and reduce it the closer they get to fireteam. I shouldn’t be punished for creeping on a four man squad.

It’s by sound, and if you tell me your PSN I might be able to tell you if it was me or not lol.

I mean I never said anything concerning the sound level of noise or the frequency. I said the design as far as spatial/directional was done well.

I agree, the sound design (and voice acting as an homage to the original film, in my opinion) are superb.

I agree. The voice acting might he campy at times but that is reflective of the 80’s style and fits perfectly. Hats off to them also getting Arnold to do some as well. Even if he did sound like he was reading from a script in the first few Dutch tapes. Again it’s these little things they did right that tell me they aren’t 100% incompetent and leave with just the tiniest shred of hope that this game can get better.

Then again I’m feeling good today. Still wouldn’t buy another of their games unless the IP can grip me.

That’s right! The last time I checked when the predator was invisible I dont remember Arnie blasting the fuck outa him…just like the scene where all the soldiers open seasoned on the predator and only a couple of shots got him…in the game it’s the complete opposite Arnie makes swiss cheese and your done while cloaked!!! That’s not a true 100% predator

It’s not even logical. It’s nonsense. Why would you be more noisy when cloaked? They’re thinking was a little backwards.
