Invisiblitiy is way too exploitive

So I agree for two reasons. One, is yes when I can just stand 2 feet from you and spear throw you without you knowing I’m there that feels like bullshit lol and two is uhhh the predator is not fucking invisible lol. It’s camouflage. The predator never was, and was never meant to be, totally invisible. It’s meant as far off camouflage but if you know what you are lookin for and have a sharp eye you can spot him

I mostly play FT and I can’t honestly understand this every type a damage leaves a trail where it came from and if you don’t spot it right away and get hit unknowingly on the first hit. Run to cover or start dancing and put your head on a swivel.
The game literally gives you confirmation when you hit the Predator on your hud with xp next to a Predator face icon ffs. Find the origin of the trajectory.

Again–easy to spot from afar and at an angle…fucking blurry as fuck from up close.

You know that the Predator is only 100% invisible if he is completely still right?

Once he fires his plasma caster or starts moving in any way then his silhouette is visible.

How is being completely invisible an exploit when he is not doing any damage to the FT when completely still

It’s a trade off though if you’re that close and they see you you’re going to get shredded. Not to mention it takes good positioning because if you’re posted the wrong way they just go on their merry way and you have to reposition because it takes 2 seconds for full invisibility to activate.

I agree. Any time a projectile leaves the predator, it should become slightly visible. After the plasma pistol buff and charging the arrow doesn’t glow, it’s a pain in the ass to to play against predators that stand still and spam into your back. It would be more balanced if there was a burst at the origin, but the projectiles seem to appear out in front of the predator and by the time you locate where the predator must be, it just leaps away.

I can sort of see that with the plasma pistol because of how blinding the shiny blue explosive can be at close range but I disagree with the bow.

Yes further nerf pred’s garbage glittering shimmering grey blob cloak because the directional clicking isn’t enough of a dead giveaway with 4 pairs of eyes watching for projectiles that leave trails.

lol I don’t get it people don’t want to be rushed down by melee but at the same time don’t want to deal with a ranged playstyle because its “annoying getting shot in the back.” Is the pred supposed to dps race 4 people with a plasma pistol from the front and get mowed down instead?

Wear headphones if the pred is beating you at prop hunt with a bow & stop just letting him reposition for free.
I’m assuming the motion blur destroys ps4 player’s ability to track a leaping pred but follow the clicking.

are you a new player or something??? the predator cload is one of the biggest flaws in the game and is exploited by the fireteam all the time

Yea no man that completely breaks the purpose of the cloak and if your having an issue with invisibility I think u should probably start using the environment elements like shadows or just any of the other countless things that give away pred position. I play both ft and pred and literally the ft just has to be good to spot u of completely invisibe

I can honestly say you bring alot of reason and stability to this forum with all your comments💯👌🏽

Ive been here so long the only thing I haven’t seen people complain about is the pred firing caster at the FT’s maximum range.
Maybe thats how people think it should be played. Just standing 4 trees away on a branch taking pot shots at the fireteam outside of the effective distance of their guns.

Because so far anything that doesn’t allow me to play recon is OP, stationary camo is OP, combistick headshots are OP, Leaping is OP, pigs are OP, claims are OP, branches are OP, bow is OP, 6 dmg bleed ticks are OP, plasma pistol is OP, pred setting off alarms is OP, shooting someone in the back is OP

Don’t forget the plasma pistol. Very OP.

Don’t forget the war club that’s the pinnacle of overpowered weaponry.

Lol that thing really is a PoS noob killer.

Just tried it against a squad Dutch’s & Supports with snipers and lmgs. I highly recommend it if you want to nearly die trying to hit one guy, leaping bugs and being berserker didn’t help either.

Well it all depends…were they FT PC or PS? Makes a huge difference in terms of awareness of surroundings. You as a predator could literally walk with unseasoned PS members at their side and cloaked and they will probably not bother to turn their sights. Very tunnel vision style playing because of slow movements of the controller.

PS but they knew what they were doing, they weren’t the typical brain dead randoms. Was actually pretty refreshing just unfortunate that I was using my pub stomp class.
