Invisiblitiy is way too exploitive

Complete Invisibility needs a cool down. Especially when firing a weapon there should be a brief visibility of the cloak during this time. Otherwise, said predator can easily just sit there and spew and nobody knowswhere he is.

Anything they can fire more than once leaves a trail. Shoot where the projectile comes from.

So you want to nerf cloak which already has a shit ton of problems to begin with that hinder the predator? It takes 3 seconds of not moving at all and staying completely still for it to work. The cloak is already pretty easy to spot on PS4 alone and even easier to know where the pred is since they can’t stop clicking if their life depended on it.

Its a blurry up smoke trail that only makes sense from afar.

Then point in the direction of damage and shoot. Or get in cover and force him to move. Let your teammates not being shot shoot at the pred. Its a team game, let your team do the damage. And when he switches targets, its your turn to follow the trail and shoot him.

Honestly, the only time invisibility is an issue is when using the Hand Held Caster because that’s a motherfudger to pinpoint. Other than that, the fucking creature won’t shut the fuck up and anyone with a half decent headset can zero in on it quickly.

I think that’s the reward for standing still close to FT.
The only moment cloak is good is this moment, all else is just one humanoid blur running around, just slightly harder to see but still easy to shot.

I’ve gotten the shot scared out of me when the Predator attacked wile they were completely invisible, and I wouldn’t change that for the world.
Being completely invisible is a reward for Predators that shouldn’t get any nerfs, but I would like the Predator’s clicks to be more spaced out

When you find a good predator it becomes extremely powerful. The only counter is to move and force him to reposition.

Find a good predator and its going to be extremely hard to shoot.

It’s only hard to hit a good predator player because of how they are constatly moving around and taking cover, not because it’s the cloak making harder to spot them(outside of the complete invisibility).
Besides that, not that hard to hit them since you can easily calculate their leap trajectory, and snipers are instante hit scan.

Of course that is the reason, that is how they are balanced and how they are supposed to play. The leap and speed is the preds greatest weapon. The cloak is just meant to augment that playstyle.

Following a leap done well is not easy. Different elevation, leaves, rocks, buildings and so on get in the way, more so when the pred is close and jumps over you.

I’m hoping this is a troll post. That’s the point of a cloak. Preds have a cloaking device. You should know that this is what you were up against before even buying the game and strategize around this as it is very easy to counter. Don’t complain about the very rare occassion that it works properly. smh.

No Just no. Bloodfang…invisible… means you cant be seen in game. By all accounts of Physics and our lord christ, there CAN’T BE such a thing without something giving it away. Otherwise YOU rely TOO MUCH on non-existense to win the game – YOU RELY ON TOO MUCH on power tripping to win the game. _–YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUSLY ENDOWED BY SUCH AN EXPLOIT to say you can walk in willy nilly without being seen and rob a bank and get a way with it. But…to each is own. Behind bars that is. and behind bars you will be.

Remember: An exploit happens 100% of the gamplay
and advantage: happens 25% of the gameplay
which one is this invisibility? 100%

Movement of ANY kind even just turning or looking gives it away. Constant clicking gives it away. Most attempts to attack give it away. Thermal vision being turned on/off gives it away (I think the eyes constantly glow even cloaked but might be wrong). Stepping in water gives it away and shorts it out completely so be smart and use this against Preds that like to melee. Spotting gives it away. Perfect invisiblity is very rare outside of glitches/hacks. Still never silent though. Clicks/Stomping. Colliding with environment. Can it be a challenge to counter? Yeah, of course. It had better be. It’s one of the only advantages Pred has to warrant a 4v1 lol. Fear of the invisible hunter should be constant or you are not doing it justice. It is a huge exaggeration to call it as broken and unbalanced as some people whine about though.

Movement of any kind…does not include turning and aiming. Youre just stating the obvious of walking/running… So any movement from the original location. Not Locomotion. Do you not not acknowledge that 100% range weapons are aiming and turning? Which means you’re still invisible.
Geezus! Mean you dont get the point of the expoit!

I feel like were two species here. I guess we are.

Pretty sure the patch notes said otherwise and I get spotted when I’m not perfectly still and crouching. Maybe I’m just not as still as I thought? lol. Either way if the Pred is not able to move/attack to maintain the true invisibility than the true invisibility itself is not the threat causing the problem really. When I play FT I get caught by surprise alot but that’s on me and not being very good, lol.

An exploit/glitch/hack is it not working as intended and needs fixing but not nerfing.

Edit: Also yes I am used to being considered a seperate species/sub-species than “people”. Personal attacks are unnecessary. Agree to disagree. IMO the cloak needs a noise reduction buff and is only problematic when a hack or glitch makes it exploitable.
