Okay this seems to be the big thing a lot of people want, seeing the man who didn’t fear the Yautja’s and even went toe to toe in a brawling match, became victorious and took a very old trophy as a sign of respect. This is “Is it possible for Harrigan to have his own DLC within the hunting grounds?”
The thought of him being in the game would be nothing short of awesome and extreme nostalgia, however I just can’t see him being in the game without some deeper lore as to why he’s in the game. Example being how when he defeated the City Hunter and left the Lost Tribe, he quoted from the movie “Don’t worry asshole. You’ll get another chance” which could lead to many meanings. Could he be wishing the future hunters from Prime luck in finding another worthy human prey? Could he be foreshadowing his return to hunt down other Predators now that he is a Worthy Hunt to claim? Or could it just be words?
To believe Harrigan lived a normal and safe life after that would be disrespectful at most, what I would imagine happend to Harrigan after the events of Predator 2 and Hunting Grounds is that Harrigan almost becomes like Dutch 2025. Let me explain, with what happened against the Lost Tribe it would be crazy for Harrigan to continue living knowing theirs a greater threat then petty crime lords and gangsters, I believe in this version of the Predator Universe, Harrigan joins the OWLF (for I feel that letting him go would be a huge mistake on their part if they didn’t recruit him, since technically he has witnessed the secret organization in action and not even their top soldiers could take down a Predator) as not only a soldier but a information broker for the Predators behavior that scientists can’t study from the labs. Granted he would be way too old to even put up a fight like he did against the City Hunter, but what if he went through the same experiments as Dutch?
This would grant Harrigan a longer life span, increase in strength - stamina - and agility. Eventually Harrigan would run into familiar faces like being apart of Dutch’s squad, I can totally see some funny banter between Harrigan & Dutch and Harrigan & Dante. He could even run into Greyback drawing the saying “What goes around comes around”. This could even be the duel that Greyback has been waiting for to possibly end his life on.
Now I know there’s actually a book exploring Harrigan’s aftermath enjoying his retirement but forced to witness and hunt down a blood thirsty Bad Blood and Enforcer (I think my memories alittle rusty on the book). Anyways I’d like to discuss this further, while I do think Isabelle is a good choice, I feel as though Harrigan could be better.
