Technically they are not when you have randoms shooting barrels right beside you and then having to use your medical supplies. plus with the AI damage buff they fucking shred the FT which makes it worse. and not to mention all the AI that spawn after they call for reinforcements

played 30 game yesterday as predator, not lose any, randoms are still randoms tho you feel the difference now as the damage are monstruous thank fuck i have 4 meds now. due to the large pouch who is a must have perks now, but god today is not my day facing a ton of premade squad, its or i win but with using everything i have or die after 14 min of intense game not gonna lie as higher level FT have the upper hand

I’ve played a good amount of pred games, vs Premades and randoms, and I personally haven’t noticed much of a difference. I still feel like I’m taking the same amount of damage and dishing the same amount out as I was before (As a Zerker with the warclub as well which, might I add, is rather fun).

But that might be to do with how I’ve always played pretty safe. I rarely even do the whole jumping with the bow and firing every jump thing cos my aim is shit, haha.

But that might just be me, haha

Is hard but still manageable. Bane buff was unnecessary, but if you are good enough you can still win against pc premade team (specially if you don’t play on derailed). You guys cannot pretend to win every game, there are people that are very very good (more than you probabily) and it’s ok to lose sometimes. Pubs are a clown fiesta for Predator and melee is only usless again good people , and it’s fine.

While Predator should not be tanking I do feel it was a mistake to make melee so unviable. Melee weapons are most of Predator’s kit and for the damage post patch Predator can put out its not worth it for what FT can put in.

All this does is reinforce bow and handheld spam which had all been existing problems since that at least means you’re not as close to the FT. Spear throwing as well since it has no reason not to be thrown given how easy it’s become to melt Predator.

At the very least the new game mode needs multiple Predators to justify this to incorporate new roles for Predator (one pinning players down and the other rushing) as I just don’t see what Predator players gain aside from a massive de-buff.

I actually tried something like that last night, trading Protection for Modfied Reserve. It worked out great. The problem is getting into range and getting out of a sticky situation. It’s effective tho.

I figure Hunter/JH//Alpha and City running Modifed Reserve, Energy Cell and Down Range is more effective tho.

They dont want you to win lol melee is trash and theu nerfed every ranged weapon pistol nerfed bow nerfed(plus broken hit boxes) net gun nerfed which leaves you with melee weapons that youll get melted for using against average teams

If the team works togather pred is at a massive disadvantage but as you fight pred becomes more at the advantage

I wanted a game where teabagging would be the last thing on anybodies mind, because they’d be too busy trying to regain their breath if they actually downed a predator…also who should I @ when it comes to suggestions for illfonic? There should really be some personal customization for the self destruct. Otherwise everyone will just get used to it over and over again.

I think they want the AI to be more threatening than pred lol. Pred needs alarms and AI for damage now otherwise just gets obliterated by bane POKE. Like 1k damage worth of poke each. And if FT kills the AI pred can just go fuck itself
