Illfonic already killed Berserker themselves by taking such an anti-melee stance. Why the hell did they even make the class in the first place then? Is a berserker class in a video game not supposed to focus on melee combat?

“Last man standing” uber power up makes almost impossible to even have the slightest chance to win against 4 man PC premades or even 3 PC ft premade + 1 ps4 random. It completely screws up the game in combination with reinforcement giving back all the gear to FTs.
Last night , vs 4 PC ft premade, I managed to down three of them in different times, fourth player immediately ran for reinforcement.
I chased him but he managed to activate the reinforcement call. Then he just ran in circles, I was hitting him multiple times, like 10-12 times with wristblades, and he was still alive. Now and then he parryed me and make a knife slash, OMFG with yautja bane the damage that he did. He made it out alive, the rest of the team reinforced and I was screwed. He was a bit lucky avoiding and destroyng 3 traps I launched at him in the heat of the battle.
In these conditions , game’s no fun anymore. It’s so unbalanced that’s almost a joke.

Maybe I’ve just been lucky with my match ups, but I’ve actually been doing better as the predator since the last update :/

I honestly want to hear Illfonics thoughts on what role berserker is supposed to fill in this game. Zerk doesn’t have the energy or stamina to play the range game or hit & run so their main option is to melee or stay in the trees spamming the pc pistol which is a bad tactic.

From a PC Fireteam Main’s perspective, I’d currently see Trapper-Berserkers to profit the most from the current patch.
We met some really cruel Berserkers in the last couple of days, who were mainly using the net gun, while throwing Beartraps right under our Feet.
They were insanely hard to beat, because they break our playstyle based on fast “glass cannon runners”, which got buffed even more by the latest patch.

The new gun is like a Gosl, nothing broken, compared to this one: is a bit better for close/middle range and a bit worse for middle/long range. The only broken weapon was Hammerhead that got nerf, for the love of God.

Not being funny but Illfonic admited on tweeter that they themselfs play mainly as FT… obviously they will make this game to favor the side they like most. Shame, IP should be taken away from them asap

I’m sure that’s because there is a greater need of FT players and not bias.

So why Jason was so OP in friday the 13th? Same story, they liked that side most so made it OP.
Jason wasn’t OP, even after the rage patch I regularly beat him playing Jenny and Mitch the two weakest characters in the game.
I beat him by running the clock.
Others just killed him if he got presumptuous.
