Do you think it could possible to select a game with an AI Predator? I’m not sure about a lot of you folks but sometimes I’ve had more enjoyment playing the game in a private match by myself infiltrating bases and completing missions as FT, yes there’s no danger of a Predator as there isn’t one but perhaps an AI Predator to go up against might solve the problem of gameplay waiting and connection issues?
Is it possible for an Ai Predator?
At this point they might as well
It would be difficult. A whole new pathfinder AI would need to be developed. It would take at least a year to get a working prototype that functions correctly and acts like the Predator.
I don’t think it would be the worst thing.
Yeah thats understandable after all the sheer amount of coding involved but a brother can dream ☺👍
Of course you can. But we definitely won’t see anything like this for quite a while, if ever.
I’m bring this up again, because I was searching for something like this to discuss.
Alot of the choices we make in this game is based on human eye sight and sometimes instinct.
To replicate this for AI FT or an AI Predator would be simpler but not as fun to go up against. I think the fun factor also revolves around there being more than one person behind a computer reacting to things (they can react by doing nothing or doing something but it could literally be anything- like running around in a circle for no reason at all! The possibilities here are infinite.)
In terms of real game design, here is a AAA game AI example:
I keep thinking that the AI PRedator might be programmed like going up against some adversaries simliar to the bosses in MGS3. They would be fairly repetitive for reasons that an AI Pred (running away would be incredibly fast, and for it to find a spot ‘thats right’ to use a med kit would also be fairly instinctual (which means an AI is going to have this in a fixed place otherwise it would be very easy to find him ).
Repeating habits are always common with most AI bosses in other games. I can assume that this would be the case too.
Lets just say an AI in a HUNT game would be so open to interpretation that an AI pred could get melted for doing things the same way everytime as well.
The only solution for a single player PHG game be scripted sequences to chop up the game play much like MGS games do with going up levels of difficultly and repetitive progressions until you reach higher levels of difficulty.
Thats my take.
This is why I feel we have a very dynamic Multiplayer game with PHG and its unique and could probably never be re-created and we are better off with a scripted game with actors doing parts and bits every once in a while like the Assassins Creed series.
This game allows us to poke and prod at another person on another computer and we get to see their reaction as they do things for us to see. Its genuinely a real response.
Where as a single player game requires a fair bit of content for us to watch so that we are entertained by it. If its not entertaining then it might fail as a single player game.
I hazard to suggest: SMART LEARNING but only a quantum computer could do this correctly and realistically. But its possible.
Example: Your game play style needs to be analyzed by your local computer for your flaws in strategy. Then by some rhyme or reason, the program needs to determine what you consider to be ‘fun’ for you to play, make a routine up , and hopefully this won’t make you salty.
It’s possible but I’m not sure illfonic has the resources to do so
If they did it I would prefer a single player/co op story
Pues sería lo suyo, tampoco creo se que sea difícil con que sea como en ghost recon wildlands que se suba al árbol dispare y corra.
lol no illfonic’s is still hiring for an AI programmer.
At most you get a scripted sequence
Would make for some uncompetitive roleplay. I do enjoy that from time to time
