I can’t refute this hypothesis. But awareness level of PS4 and PC players has huge difference. I haven’t see someone who play over game abilities yet.
PC gaming is a hive for hackers.
You can turn off cross play and we dont miss you mr. Bait.

No, it’s not. It’s just far far farrrrr easier to do on PC so that’s primarily where it is. It’s still an insanely small fraction of any community hacking.

It more likely they ppl are using a macro to always be spotting when they shoot or something. I don’t doubt ppl can crack illfonics code so not impossible.

I had an experience last night that made me think this is definitely a problem, I was playing as predator I had a group that would spot me (and keep me spotted with almost 100% up time) though terrain and walls any time I would come within 100-150 meters of them, mind you I’m fully cloaked up in trees and in most cases NOT in direct line of sight. they would immediately focus me with insane weapon accuracy to the point that within 3-5 seconds of being within 100 yards of them I would have to attempt a retreat to heal, but they would chase me down and be right on top of me the whole way, even though the Pred can easily out distance the fire-team with movement abilities. they would come directly to me ( within seconds of me stopping to heal) after traversing 3/4 of the map away from them and catch me mid heal, tried to escape the pursuit 3x unsuccessfully before they killed me
