Is still amazing how many Predator players get surprised when we find them. “How can they see me?” we constantly hear on coms. We try telling them every time they speak they give away their position. Every time they climb a tree, stomp nearby, drop pools of bright green blood, gives away their position. They simply don’t get it and just get mad and say “cheaters”…
Like really… how dumb are they?
Granted we can hear the pred you pretty much like you say, but it always makes me wonder if the audio is better or more clear on pc.
Cause I feel as much as this is brought up that its the case.
Well most PC players will lower the music volume. Don’t know if that’s an option on console. That helps a lot isolating sounds.
I personally dislike the “7.1 surround sound” because it really breaks the pin point location and just creates a mess. Stereo function works just fine for this game.
I’ve gotten called a cheater for tracking blood trails lol. Just smack at the blood splotches if the pred sounds close
yeah we have heard the whole no foliage argument for graphics settings on PC.
It doesn’t matter when the pred is cloaked. Is still invisible. We don’t use vision to track down an invisible being. We use sound. That’s how we spot it.
On the other hand, not viewing foliage actually hinders your gameplay (somehow) because in this stupid game LEAVES stop .50 cal bullets. Yes. Is that absurd. So you are shooting an invisible leaf thinking you are shooting your target.
I run lower graphics, not because is “easier” to “see” but because the FPS are somewhat always above 60, which for me, is far more important than eye candy
Biggest give away is sound, my Bluetooth headset does the job well pinpointing where Predators are, if they aren’t quiet or they are not relocating after being shot at or near then that’s on them.
Having headphones and functional hearing = cheating according to PS4 players.
I’ve lost count how many “screechers” have accused me and other PC players i have played with of cheating just because we heard them.
Hell, we’d hear you even better if it wasn’t for Zeus’ constant updates drowning out every other sound in the game.
Dude pretty much any good player does that.
I have it lowered but I like it so I keep it higher than most.
Gets boring not listening to music tho.
On PC you can use software to tune the frequency in order to hear the pred better and from a farther distance.
Can do that on ps4 as well. They make these magical items called headset pro tuners.
