I tried using the Elder Sword in combat against the Fireteam, and now I’m wondering if it should be called the Elder Knife. The Fireteam seemed to be avoiding almost all of my swings unless I sprinted into their faces. When I used the Wrist Blades, it felt like I was getting at least a couple swings in each time without having to be right on top of them. Is it just me, or does the Elder Sword have a ridiculously small attack range and I’d be better off using the Wrist Blades?
Is the Elder Sword’s attack range shorter than the Wrist Blades’?
I think its the same range, which can be defeated by a slow backpedal by the fire team.
The only time i used it, it took 6 hits to down someone instead of the wrist blade’s 5 and I haven’t had use for it since.
well to me it seems whether i use the sword or the blades if im in close quarters trying to attack they can just dodge my attacks like neo from the matrix… Also if i recall each swing of the sword would decloak me but the blades do not. one of several reasons the pred is just weak…
fireteam heals in like a few seconds…pred takes 30 sec or more, fireteam all spam shotguns as they can take down the predator in seconds if they are all targeting him , pred has the shoulder mounted gun that is useless unless target is standing still, miss by a few inches and the target just stands there like what was that with no damage to force them to cover, Also when the pred is near death he can no longer jump, he can no longer climb, all he can do is run away before bleeding out only to have to suffer through lonnnnnng animations to heal while the fireteam just finds you and tries to finish you off… just weak.
