Is there a point in even using Hammar Head any More?

Since the Sawz-50 is so powerful if you have a full team with effective snipers and can keep the Predator at long range. Then why use a Hammar Head if you’re only going to be able to use it the few times the Predator can move in. This is more oriented to PS4/PS5 players but PC players’ input is always good… except for @MassImpact124

I use HH all the time if its not SAWZ. Its extremely well-rounded for distance and up close, it has a higher mag capacity than the Mercenary, and coupled with that perk that eliminates recoil and it can be a beast. Its accuracy plus damage with a full mag dump can melt a careless Pred easily, even in the trees, and especially if you stack on the damage from hipfire with classes like Dutch 87 or increase AR damage from the Assault.

The hammerhead unlike the SAWZ can hurt players where it really hurts, their frames. You ever been hit by a teammates under-barreled grenade only for your frames to tank? It changes you.

I find using the LMG to be more effective at close range than the hammerhead. The long clip constant fire is really annoying to deal with at close range and most preds will just go away.

It’s quite effective at medium range as well once you get used to the recoil. And a 4 man LMG squad is devastating.

HH is still superior in many ways, including the impact grenade.

Sawz is only good if you are a good sniper. Is too slow for sustained fire, so if you miss, you are fucked
