So, we’ve reached the end of the roadmap laid out at the beginning of the games launch. We now have the 4 Paid DLCs out of the way with their respective free updates, we know there’s the new mode/map dropping sometime before the end of the month but what then?

I’m curious to know if the PHG team at illfonic have another roadmap for us, or is the new mode/map going to be it until after the madness of the election and Christmas season?

What does the future hold for the game, and what can we as players and supporters of this endeavour look forward to in the near future?

Is there anything you can reveal to us @Courier @OldKingHamlet so that we can look to the future with excitement? Will there be a Halloween event or Christmas event?

What does the community hope to see over the next 6 months? (aside from ongoing bugs finally being fixed which is what the Bug Report section is for. Please keep the hostility out of this, and just juggle ideas and hope that the Devs have a stage 2 in the works).

I’d say its time to start focusing on actual new shit, and not just skins.
Cause none of these classes are really new or anything.

Even if they have to take a while to make it, as long ad they can keep the current game working properly, that will be enough to hold people off.

Honestly, another thing that would help ppl hold off for a new mode would be the ability to customize private matches.

Ppl will keep themselves busy with it.

But whatever gets added, the most important thing is mane sure it works.

More maps, more tools/weapons, more different missions, maybe raid boss encounters

Isn’t it obvious? How about a story mode either Fireteam or Predator in search of lost technology on earth, either Promethium or Predator, That way people can play offline for a little bit and take a break from the normal Grind also here’s how it can sell, if you beat the game on hardest difficulty you get the Jungle Hunter 87 skin lol 🤣

I would say if would be better if another developer would do it. So that way illfonic can purely focus on this.

Tho a co op mode wouldnt be too bad I think.

Perks you say? Man, that would be awesome, but think of all the work it includes! Coming up with new ideas for the FT and Predator would by far be the toughest part… but then trying to get them to work in an updated sort of system where I can use all 9/9, 12/12 or 15/15 perk points would be impossible! Any ideas on how they can narrow their focus here?

I’m hoping for Mike Harrigan and a city map

New weapons

New maps

New characters

New perks

New gear

Modes takes a backseat to these imo

That said I want xeno hunt mode

Escape mode where Predator had to escape project STGZ

Tech hunt where FT must recover tech from a crashed Pred ship

Battle royale mode like in Predators

Pred vs Pred mode

Bad blood mode where an enforcer must prevent the bad blood from wiping out the FT

Dropping things that actually insinuate what they are.

If its a pack (this should be multiple items)

If maps drop in packs (maybe they should come in 2 or 3s?)

We need to be flooded with content.

Where in the front half of this experience has been, literally bleeding a single game mode on 3 slightly varied maps. (All in the jungle)

Give us so much content to work with that there isn’t room for any LULS or DOWNTIME.

Quality products will produce quality results.

Maybe even introduce a scheduled maintenance day of the month to get us players used to things.

Consistency is the key to this next road map.

In reality just depends on the length of time assigned, I think you’ve got 12 months (since release) here all things considered (ps5 release, small studio etc) so we’ll probably get a 2nd 4month roadmap at some point. It’s a shame as the game has such potential and millions of things that could be added, but they’re unlikely to invest much time/effort/cash when PS5 comes along. They’ll be picking up another movie property soon haha.

I just hope they drop the new map and mode soon, then as we go throw in some more predators and FT classes, add the same maps with night vision, and add new objectives within the maps so it’s fresh again and an easy thing to do. Maybe we’ll get 1 more mode and 1 another new map during that 2nd roadmap, like LA 1997 theme would be cool and clearly everyone wants that.

I don’t think we can hope for too much more than that and that would be great. I’d just like more clear information as we go along.
