Hooray we got longer matches now, but that’s only because neither team commits because of all the guaranteed healing. Pred doesn’t have to force a fight and most of these console preds can’t hit anything now that melee is extra garbage via bane + knife, parry & its shotgun tier damage so they’re (rightfully) scared to get close.
Now it’s just a stallfest where both teams runaway to go heal unless your pub team is unanimously rushing these boring ass AI but no one wants to shoot at them. Pubs usually just strafe around in a circle ocassionally pinging the pred and the pred runs away at half hp & that’s about it for 8 mins.
Pigs have always risked pred losing time on the FT, pred having 4 medkits does not.
Not against the concept of longer games at all, but its thematically awful having all your work undone on both sides via reinforcements, SW, medkits etc. EVERY match being a war of attrition is about as fun as getting slugged in DBD & a lot of it is because AI is boring as hell downtime.
Tl;dr game needs less second chances, not more. Everyone plays like they have 3 healthbars on both sides because they do. It’s arcadey and gross.
