tbh JH wins all matchups because he is an expert at meta caster spam.

the one time he get bored of mashing that caster he walked into a trap and got his feelings hurt but to make up for it he actually successfully detonated unlike 99% of predators in every single piece of media.

I’ll bump this thread before it goes into oblivion, spammed by drama threads.

It’s over.

There are only personal attack and discord raid threads now.

Nice job, that was a really epic battle.

That was the same predator that killed me and some randoms in under thirty seconds. He got lucky by killing me first.

Thanks man! I really enjoyed that match tbh, it was probably the best match that day that I had.
I was recording that day and trying my best to fight against low fps on medium settings ( I’m playing on a laptop ) more than fighting a Pred. :)

OG maps like Overgrowth, Backwater and Derailed run smoother for me with higher fps, on Excavation and HQ, my FPS can drop to 30ish even on low settings.

When I took off his mask, I had a feeling that he’s gonna go for the pigs where the chopper is, since he can’t use target isolation without the mask, he ate 2 pigs there before, so after doing some dmg to him, I waited in the bushes and that was game over for him.

It’s hard to get a match where randoms actually work as a team, most of them from my exp don’t even mud up at the start of the match and leave when they get killed.
At least Steam players tried to fight him off, but I did most of the dmg to keep him off us.

I liked how you tried to stay hidden in the bushes while sniping the predator.

Yeah, those mask shots were awesome. Once you took his mask off, I knew that predator was gonna get smoked.

You carried that whole team of randoms. Two of those guys seemed like complete potatoes lol. In the match I had against that predator, the randoms just hid in a building after I got killed. They didn’t even try to fight the predator.

I tried to stay behind the cover, to protect myself from plasma shots, also Pred was on PC, on PC you can run low settings and when you do that, there’s almost no grass. It’s so rare, that, you can’t hide in it, Pred can see you from just one leap. But you can still hide behind solid objects, he can’t see through that.

I was blown away, when I got them reinforced, they had everything and one dude dropped the ammo bag and they took everything before I could. So I popped ā€œneed ammoā€ and one dude dropped one for me, there was no ammo crates in two bases, I went off to another just to try to find one.

What’s worse, one of them shot the red barrel next to me and took 40 hp from me and I was like, really dude?!

Yeah I know bro, it’s usually like that, they expect you to do everything while they are holding each other’s hands somewhere in the corner. I still play pubs alone, it’s a good training for me 'cause 90% of those matches, I have to do everything alone, kill AI’s, do the mission, fight off the Pred. If the Pred goes after potatoes first, there’s a high chance that I’ll 2nd wind him early in the game, which helps me to finish him off if he comes back quick after he heals up from 2nd wind.

Oh yeah, I remember that part lol. I got pissed watching them do that. Why the fuck would they even need all the ammo when they didn’t even use their guns to shoot the predator?? It’s even more funnier that it was one guy that took most of the ammo.

Although it gets infuriating playing with potatoes, it is hella satisfying being able to beat a good predator by yourself. I’ve had so many matches where I managed to kill the predator by myself after the rest of the team died or quit the match. To be honest, the matches where you carry the team can be fun as long as the predator doesn’t kill you first lol. As soon as the predator kills you or the other competent player on the team, the rest of the team is screwed.

Bro I’ve seen players taking 3 ammo charges from the ammo crate at the start of the match, get killed 30 sec after and do a rage quit, and I’m like, dude, what the hell?! xD

They can do whatever they want, I won’t complain, as long as they don’t hinder my performance in the game. Don’t blow the barrels next to me, don’t take the ammo charge when you don’t even need it and don’t stick to me when you never even muddied up for the whole match, you’re just gonna get me killed and then it’s game over.

I do try to help the team, I even pop my mic and say, hey dude, mud up, just look at the ground and press whatever pops on your screen, but majority don’t even listen, they just go on and do whatever.

It is satisfying to kill a good Pred player by yourself, but it’s not an easy task tbh, especially if your teammates are brain dead. When I group up with my friends, we rarely lose matches, because we know what to do and how to play. You don’t need to be a God with your aim and accuracy, just knowing the basics and sticking together will grant you a win in most matches.

I have the same experience, if I die 1st, it’s usually a game over for the whole team, in pubs alone.
With friends I’m not worried much, even if Pred kills 2-3 of us, 4th one is gonna bring us back 99%.
If Pred kills 2 ppl, I usually say to the 4th guy, go for the radio, I’ll bait the Pred and buy you time, if I get killed, pop the radio, if I fight off the Pred 1v1, I’ll let you know when he’s 2nd winded and you can pop the radio.

In my opinion, being a good player isn’t about having a good aim, it is a big part of it, but it’s also about awareness of your surroundings and the tactics you come up with on the go.

I don’t even revive potatoes anymore lol. I don’t see the point as it really makes no difference whether they’re on the team or not.

On one hand, we can’t really blame the potatoes for being bad at the game as there isn’t really a good tutorial that tells people how to play. I didn’t even know what parrying was when I first started playing the game until I saw my teammate parry the predator. Parrying and going for reinforcements is something that should be included in a tutorial. There are so many times where a player could’ve have easily survived an encounter with the predator by parrying instead of running away.

Yeah, having good aim is nice but being aware of your surroundings is very important too. A lot of these potatoes don’t even notice that the predator is right behind them and they just end up getting killed. As soon as they hear the clicking noises, they should be on guard and looking around for the predator.
