So I remember this vividly, but on Overgrowth - in the area with the cranes just north of the south-most Infiltration area, where there is a platform there and if you find a FT member standing underneath the platform on the edge of the cliff, and as a Pred using Bow standing on the ground seeing him up there (feet can’t be seen), did you manage to hit him with any arrows?
I remember this vividly that no matter how many times it hit him dead centre (i did this about three times) there was no hits to him as it seems the cliff was in the way but clearly I was aiming much higher than the cliff’s edge.
This scenerio is very rarely but it signifies a fault in trying to hit a target from below.
If anyone out there please try aiming up at a target and see what results you get.
A similar scenario would be the elevated area directly opposite of this location where there is a barrel and layered bricked sniper spot. I also found these areas difficult to land a direct head shot as the wall gets in the way but its clear that your red dot is well above the bricked area and aimed directly at the NPC or FT.
Should we continue trying to find target high above or should we not since the upwards direction or that cliffs and ledges block have an invisible impeding block? Because I’m NOT OK with that as targets on cliffs or in sniper duggouts are perfectly valid targets.
