I just got off a game where a person stood in front of me to knife fight. I think ok I’ll just take out my net as I’m ready for this type of trash play that the fire team has adapted to. BOOM, I hit the first one square and I down him. I’m now looking across from my prey… “you’re screwed kid”. I shoot hitting him square and see my points rack up. “I’ve got him!” … no I don’t. Once more I shoot and then I see it clear as day. The swipe of the 4 inch of death. He has successfully slashed my net mid air… surely he can’t pull it off again. 7 nets later I get him. I end up killing everyone thankfully since they broke into two groups.

So here we are again looking at another way FT can stall the game and keep shooting at a predator/prey depending on how you look at it to get the easy cheesy win. Idk if this is suppose to be a mechanic in the game but it seems a bit broken since the knife is so deadly anyway along with all the god like perks a FT can combine together. I love this game and wish to see it go far and honestly it’s one of the only games I’ve gone into the official forums to post about.

Keep on updating and staying in touch with the community and this game will go very far.

It’s part of the lore, it’s happens at the end of predator 2. So it’s a mechanic yes

With the force the net gun is shown to impact people it should really knock FT members back(increasing the chance of a pin) because currently the only time I manage to get a pin is if they are crouching, because then you can pin them to the ground

It does slowly deal damage, it’s just like AI guns level damage, so it’s useless in that aspect

they have to time it well so its skill based i dont have issue with that. see if they can slash a plasma to the face :)

Or bow shots, or a spear thow to the face lol

What i dont like is they can shoot the net mid air, that takes no skill. but again i guess it has to have a counter or there would be nothing they can do. i just think it should be a % chance to shoot the net so its not always shot down.

I heard you can parry a bow too but I’m not sure 🤣🤣 that be nuts if you can. I’ve noticed the net can get shot at too mid flight

Most matches I load into as FT I just pull out my knife till I hear pred come within that 80 meter audio range, pull out my 7EN, pinpoint the sound, wait for movement, and pop some masks, then pull my knife back out and have my SMG ready since all he can now is close to mid range

They really need to buff the war club and elder sword and pistol. It’s starting to show how unbalance his weapons are. And if you wanna nerf the combi stick then it should be a hail Mary get off me move that cost alot of stamina and have more of knock back. And maybe scale the damage based on how many targets you hit so if it’s the 1st person he gets most of the damage then scales if it hits a second or thrid target since it has a A.o.e.

The parry needs to be high excution to parry and should do little damage. That should be saved for a 1v1 situation if you parry him it should down him long enough to pop his mask or get away at least this way it isn’t spammy and takes skill to pull off and feels fair and make fire teams stay together not just go around and take on a pred like nothing.

i dont mind it being cut with knife. i have a slight problem with a bullet hitting a net made mostly of open fresh air… that should jst have a chance % added to it. if you good enough to parry an incoming net thats good skill and i like it. If all you do is hold fire and immune to nets that just sucks ass.

I didn’t know bullets break the net, I’m fine with a well timed knife slash to cut the net.

No it doesn’t a regular knife breaks the only time it was cut is by the smart dick. I swear stop using movie logic to justify unbalance mechanic.

You’re pretty much down to bear traps and the shit you started with. the blades and plasma cannon since everything else is trash. Or use the combi stick or bow
